Apartment review 1/19/2012

Large apartment for the money. Major problems once you sign the lease. I still have items that haven't been repaired since I moved in 10 months ago. Amy in the office says someone has to be at the home for them to come in to fix things. But she will never call and let you know when they are coming to work on your apartment. Now I have asked for the past week for them to come look at the heat pump because my electric bill went from $60 to $134 in a month and looks like it will be $300 this month. Dominion power checked things out and said it was either heat pump or water heater. I have given Amy my work schedule so she can send maintenace people over when I am at home. Several people in the complex are getting high electric bills because no maintenance has been done on the heat pump in most of the units. So even though the price is low for rent, go somewhere else because the units are old and so is the heat pumps and hot water heaters. Amy ignores your requests so she can save the landlord company money. Rent elswhere. more

They are NOT pet friendly!!!!!!!!!!! You must have just moved in...........They don't know their own policies concerning dogs. Pros: what pros? Cons: poor management more

Not the best, but certainly not the worst. 8/4/2008

It's a quiet neighborhood. The houses are pretty nice, good space for the price. Lots of closets, and a spacious kitchen. They are pet friendly, despite the previous rant. We have two cats and several of our neighbors have pets. We rarely hear our neighbors through the walls, which has been a problem at previous apartments. We had to nag to get our toilet fixed, but everything else they fixed quickly. There's only one assigned space for each home, so the visitor spaces are usually filled with residents and the parking can be problematic. Overall, though, I enjoyed living at Hickory Point. Pros: Quiet neighborhood with lots of kids Cons: Parking is limited. more

I wouldn't even give them 1 star if the site hadn't asked me to 7/15/2008

MANAGE is HORRIBLE...........No, I mean really it BITES Don't sign on the dotted line Pleazzze! They don't fix anything. Stay anywhere else besides here. Don't even turn down this street. Oh, and pets are NOT welcome Pros: very spacious Cons: management is horrible - they all stick together, never mind the consumer.....keep you money more
