Great Fun for the Whole Family 8/1/2005

Hershey Park offers a wide variety of entertainment for the whole family. From dare devil to the more mild carousal, the entire family will have a great time here. The Park also offers a great selection of entrainment (musical shows, water shows etc) throughout the day. There are numerous selections of foods to make everyone happy. And don't forget to stop by Chocolate World to purchase the 3lb Hershey Kiss to take home. more

Do you love chocolate 7/29/2005

We all know that Hershey is the place to go if you love chocolate. But, did you know that you can go to a chocolate themed amusement park, too? Hershey Park has a unique system of 'sizing' for kids. When you enter the park, you find which candy bar you are closest to in size, (peanut butter cups, kisses, etc.), and then at each kid's ride, there is a list of which candy bars may ride. It makes it a little more fun for kids who aren't quite tall enough to ride somethings. Also, throughout the park are candybar vending machines. They are like soda machines, they keep the candy cold so it doesn't melt all over. And, everyone once in a while, you come across the smell of chocolate wafting through the park. The rides and attractions compete with any other theme park I have been to. Big Bear is a popular inverted rollercoaster. And, of course there are lots of places to eat, sit under a shade tree, and also lots of water rides to get you soaking wet. This is definitely a family friend park. It's well maintained, and very clean. And, you can always take the ride through tour at the chocolate factory, and get a free Hershey bar when you exit the tour. more

Fun in chocolate town 7/27/2005

This is a great amusement park for kids of all ages. It's beautifully landscaped and there is shade available for those hot summer days. There is a section of kiddie rides along with a number of roller coasters. There are plenty of good restaurants within the park plus a variety of snacks. Be sure to check out Zoo America, admission is free from within the park. Check Giant Food stores. They sell discounted admission tickets. more

Great fun for the family 7/9/2005

Hershey park is a great local amusement park. They have a large selection of rides, for younger and older riders. There rollercoasters are not the best in the world but they are very good, my personaly favorites are the Great Bear and Stormrunner. Everything there is overpriced but that is common for amusement parks, expect to be paying up to $3 for a bottle of water. If you can get by the high price Hershey Park is a very good park. more
