I have been shopping at Here We Go Again, the Carolina location, for almost 5 years. I have enjoyed the name brands and reasonable prices, and used to enjoy the salespeople there....

Editorial review from Citysearch 6/25/2012

There's always something unique here and the shoe selection is pretty good. They only take top quality brands, and even then, they're pretty picky. Not many sizes for small people but the jewelry and handbags more than make up for it. more

Great boutique experience; retail therapy without the retail price tag 7/3/2008

Okay, first I must confess that I have no sense of style. It's not that I haven't tried, it's that I was raised by a single dad who didn't have the backup of his mom or his sisters when I was growing up. Pros: great staff, great selection, honest feedback Cons: if you love it and it's the wrong size, it's the only one. Such is the nature of consignment. more

The loveliest store in town 5/30/2008

This is my first ever review and I chose Here We Go Again because that is my ultimate favorite shop in town. I mean from the moment you enter the store till you leave the experience is pure joy and has been consistently like that since I started shopping there since 2004. The staff, the personal attention, the quality & selection of clothes, and the owner herself (who BTW is at the Broadway store almost every single day!!), are just AMAZING! And the store manager at the Jones Landing store, is a super great person to meet. Often, they even remember your name. How cool is that?! You can't help but to enjoy your time at both locations. They give you their truly honest opinions about how the items, you picked to try on, look on you and never ever say things like: oh, you look so good in that purple blouse when clearly that is not your color. I ALWAYS feel good about what I get there. Their inventory changes every day as new consignments are coming in. They take only the BEST stuff. And that is what they should do. They are a business and they do and take what is best for them. They know exactly what sells and they have to be particular. And that was true for their recycled wedding gowns while part of their business. Of course, there may be some mistakes occasionally by new associates in staff, but don't we all make those mistakes when we start a new job? That is how we learn. You can bring in clothes from Nordstrom or other high end boutiques BUT if they are not the latest and greatest they'll be rejected. And if you don't like it or feel emotional about your clothes being rejected than don't bring them in. Plus, if you want 'any' kind of used clothes go to Goodwill or something like that, but if you want the TOP NOTCH stuff with the latest style in fashion, spotless, cleaned, and at a great price I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HERE WE GO AGAIN. I love you guys. You all are AWESOME!! I'll come in today. PS: I love their business concept: RECYCLING! Pros: excellent quality, variety, and customer service. Parking is actually not bad at all Cons: none more

Rude+snooty 4/29/2008

I have been shopping at Here We Go Again, the Carolina location, for almost 5 years. I have enjoyed the name brands and reasonable prices, and used to enjoy the salespeople there. Things have definitely changed and I will NEVER shop there again. I don't know when, exactly, the changes took place, but it seems that maybe they are under new ownership (?) and the new owner has absolutely zero class and zero ability to treat her loyal customers with respect. I have tried several times to submit items for consignment and have never had complete success. For example, I was there recently with about 20 items (shoes, handbags, jeans, blouses) and only 1/4 of my items were accepted. My clothing is never junk, as I shop at Nordstrom, Macys, Gap, and as of recently, Here We Go Again. I get the feeling from this person (owner?) that neither I nor my garments are good enough for her store. A USED CLOTHING STORE. I don't understand what the criteria is for something to pass her test, because I have seen items there that look as if she just picked them from a trashcan out back. I am tired of being treated like I don't belong there, so from now on, I won't bother. It's apparent that though I have spent hundreds of dollars there, they are doing fine without my contribution. Don't waste your time patronizing this ""wannabe"" clothing store, you won't be welcome there anyway. Pros: Good prices, but the items are USED Cons: No parking, poor customer service more

Best selection of re-sale fashion in Portland! 4/5/2008

Imagine my surprise when I stopped at my favorite consignment store on Barbur Blvd to find that it had moved! When I finally made it to the new east side location I loved it. What a cute shop and I love the neighborhood. The service was great. I'll be sure to make Here We Go Again one of my regular stops. Pros: Great Location more

Rude and dismissive staff 11/13/2007

I called today to find out how consignment works and the woman I spoke to was extremely rude. She started off o.k. sharing that as of two months ago the store stopped taking wedding dress consignments. She referred me to a place in McMinnville, which is quite a ways away. After discussion about flower girl dresses, I asked if they would take my wedding dress, for free, so that I don't have to drop it off at the Goodwill. She got very snotty said, ""No"" and a few other dismissive words and tried to hang up on me. I just got off the phone and decided that the best way to direct my frustration is by posting a review. more

Honest, friendly and great prices! 10/29/2002

I went here thinking it was a used dress only store and that I would try on a wedding dress in the style that I was thinking of before ordering online. To my delight, I met Chris and received fabulous personal attention, honesty and assistance. I had priced the dress of my dreams and decided that my dreams had to be altered. I ended up buying the first dress that I tried on here (though there were 7 others for me to try in the style I liked), received honest input from the staff on what looked best on me and was able to order the dress (new) in my size. Please check here if you are a bride to be and make sure you check here first! Pros: Open late, New and used Cons: Poor parking more
