Top Notch, User Friendly Toy Store 5/21/2006

Henry Bear’s Park has a truly fabulous selection of children’s toys and books. You can find educational toys here as well as a great and huge array of dress up and fantasy accessories (dragon tail, anyone?). The staff knows its stuff and the manager reads all the children’s book it stocks. Very helpful place to seek a gift when you know the age range but not the child so well. Also, fun window displays. more

Henry Bear's Park is a leading port to pick out the latest toys for instants, tots and toddlers., From cuddly dolls and teddy bears to crafts kits, board games, model trains, to the ubiquitous legos, Henry Bear's Park has the most outstanding selection. And there are almost always deals there for art kits and the latest materials. And don't forget the old stand-by brands like Ken and Barbie orthe timeless board games we know and love. It's a great look into the culture of children's play then and now. more

Another Great Toy Store 8/19/2005

Perhaps it is a little odd that I have visited all the toy stores in Boston, but when you take care of a three year old all the time, it is hopefully understandable. My cousin absolutely loves this toy store, of course he is 3 so I do not know how much weight that carries. He is the biggest fan of legos I have ever seen, so when we go here he plays with them for a couple of hours. I think they have an excellent selection of kids stuff and the people here seem to really enjoy the tikes. more

more toys 8/11/2005

I love coming here with my husband. He loves some of the european toys that are stocked here. I personally adore the stuffed animal collections. Good selection of toys and books for all ages. Just wish I was a kid again to enjoy the wonderful toys. Some parking is available and not so easily accessible by train. more

    Visiting Henry Bear's Park makes you wish you were a kid again. There's not a lot of Day-Glo plastic here. Instead, you'll find collector dolls, Madeline dollhouses and puppet theaters. Neat looking books, soft, cuddly animals and a fun dress-up section set this toy store apart from its commercial counterparts. Keep the youngsters happy with Folkmanis puppets--the snowy owl is a favorite. We were tempted by the "Fun With Your Cat" science kit, but we wondered if our kitties would feel the same.

    Play Time
    Pick up a Corolle Doll at Henry Bear's Park. These French imports have won two Doll of the Year awards, and come in a toddler, infant, even a mini collection.
