Amazing Work, Great People: I have not gotten a tattoo in over ten years and when I was on my honeymoon I decided to take the plunge and get a second one. I walked in with design in hand, he was so helpful and easy going. I asked him how long since we needed to catch a plane that evening and he said no worries I will have you out in 1.5 hours. He could see I was a little nervous and from our conversations he put on Midnight in Paris so I could watch it and relax while he was doing the work!! He started at 3:15pm and at 4:15pm I was thanking him for the most incredible tattoo experience I have ever had, and had my first one been this positive it would not have been 10+ years between them. My wife and I are planning on returning and I promise you now I will be in there to get another!! If you want a low profile, wonderful customer service, great people then this is the parlor for you...forget the other places, they blew me off saying they didn't have the time, I am so glad they did so I could meet these guys and have them give me a great wedding gift :) more

weve gone to htc compant before and have been really happy with the place,this time we went tried to set up an appt,and the artist(or so called artist)didnt want to draw up a cat and dog for me,and said it right in front of me,the place was dead no one in there,i guess the bad economy hasnt touched them and they can be rude to people,and didnt want our money. so we talked to some locals that refered us to 808 tattoo in kaneohe,we went to set up an appt and the place was packed,the nice girl behind the counter said they didnt have any appts open for the day we wanted,but sent us to libra tattoos in the same complex,we went and talked to them they were friendly,and he didnt have a problem drawing me up what i wanted,my tattoo looks just like a painting a work of art ive only had it for 4 days now and already have had so many compliments,i highly recommend libra tattoos and i cant wait to go back next year and get something else Cons: rude more

It has sorta become a family tradition now to go to HTC each time we visit Hawaii since we first found it in 2006. It seems that anytime my husband, my brother and I go to hawaii together we do our family bonding at HTC. and anytime any of my other family is out there they make it a point to drop by and get tatted up as well. I love that I feel like a friend rather then just another customer when we walk in. Sure sometimes it takes a while to recognize a face but give it a few minutes and its like running into old friends from high school. Joe owns the shop and is super chill. He's a great guy and really funny once you get to know him. they're all like a close family in there which make me that much more comfortable. I usually get my work done by Sheri. she does great color work and she's so nice. if you're looking for tribal work though, Mika is the one to look for. I've seen his work and its great! Joe also does a good job with tribal also. He did some pretty sikk work on my brother and husband during our most recent visit about 2 weeks ago. I'm pretty sure anyone you decide to go with will do a great job on your piece. I totally back this place 100%. That's why we keep coming back and keep bringing more people each time we go. i really do not recommend hawaiian tattoo company at pucks alley. i got a nose piercing there and have had nothing but problems ever since. when i first got it done, Ro (the piercer) didnt even fit me with the right sized nose stud. i had to go back the next day because it was so tight that the jewel was half way through my nose. throughout the healing period it got infected and after 2 doses of antibiotics, i decided to take it out. to my surprise, the stud was coverd in scratches and nicks! and supposedly its suppose to be a new stud. how fricken gross!!!! i'm very upset and do not recommend them for body piercings!! they dont care about the customers, they just care about saving a buck. Pros: the shop appears to be clean and sanitary Cons: they used jewelry that is not appropriate for any body piercing, piercer doesnt seem to know what he is doing, not very much help when piercing goes wrong more

HTC is awesome! Especially Doug! My boyfriend had gotten some work there before by Doug so I decided when I was going to get my tattoo it would be there. Everyone there is friendly which makes for a great atmosphere. Very clean and inexpensive. And I loved the work Doug did! I would get my second tattoo there as well if I werent in a diff state. Pros: Inexpensive, quality work, great atomsphere, parking lot practically right next to it (we even got free parking once and only paid $3 the second time) more
