Nice Place to Adopt Animals 10/4/2005

The Hawaiian Humane Society is a nice place to adopt cats or dogs. You can see the animals in their cages and the Humane Society has a great program to adopt these animals. The grounds at this Humane Society are very nice. The animals look like they are well taken care of. The workers are very knowledgeable about the dogs and cats that they have on the grounds. The Hawaiian Humane Society also encourages and has programs about neutering or spading your animals. more

They take care of their animals 9/21/2005

This place is super nice and well decorated. Its very nice place to go and wonderful place to get a pet. I highly reccomend against going to a pet store. Most pet store from hawaii have pets coming from puppy farms and similar areas to that. This place has animals that really need a home. Some of the people working at incoming are a little mean, but other than that its such a nice place to go. And if you get a chance I would reccomend you go on the petwalk in July. more

Save a dog or a cat today 8/20/2005

We have seen a lot of sad dogs and cats during our visits to the Human Society and while our family is not ready to adopt one yet we have relatives who have saved a dog or two from imminent endings. Today these dogs are members of the families that have adopted them. One has even been house trained and lives a happy full life in a great home! But please remember, if you are not ready for one, please don't adopt one. Puppies turn into dogs, and kittens turn into cats. more

Help an animal today! 8/10/2005

I wanted to recommend to anyone to please check out the pets available at the Hawaiian Humane Society. These animals need good homes and the monetary cost from adoption goes directly into the society to help more animals. I took my dog to the classes offered here for training and she learned some valuable commands. We visit the dog park frequently and there is a nice crowd of people and their pets here. There is a cat house full of cats who need homes and often the Humane Society also has birds and rabbits available. They do so much to help out animals, help them out and pay them a visit! You can also purchase Neuter Now certificates here, which offset the costs of neutering your cat or dog, which is a must!!! more
