Good store, I like it. 6/22/2008

Hastings is a great place to find what your looking for. In particular the book section is admirable. The music selection is nice as well. Through you may not find lesser known artist there. The games and movies are ok, but if you come there more than then once, they might not have everything your looking for. All of this said, they are a marvelous place to shop, and when was the last time you found a store named after a battle? Pros: Lots of parking, Good book selection, Polite customer service. Plenty of music. Cons: Average gaming section. more

Pretty Average 4/26/2007

The only reason to go to Hastings, as far as I'm concerned, is for their decent selection of movies and music, which still isn't as extensive as a Best Buy or comparable store but currently beats most other places in Murfreesboro. Their book section, however, is fairly lacking. I generally check Hastings for a book only if I've already tried Books-a-Million (and I only head to Books-a-Million because the Barnes and Noble is yet to be finished) or if I happen to be in the area, and I am still usually disappointed. Also, the dirth of a membership discount service, as offered by similar stores (including Books-a-Million and Barnes and Noble), is a definite negative. more
