Great Shop 4/17/2006

Harrys' Guitar shop is a greatplace to go if you want some one on one help selecting a guiatr. most times I have been the only one in this store shopping which make shopping much easier. Most guitar shops are filled with screaming kids and loud people testing items. This is one of my favorites due to its low key nature. more

Harry's means Business 2/21/2006

If ever you are in the market for a guitar, then harry's is the place to go to get it. Harry's is the best guitar shop in the raleigh area in my opinion, and specializes entirely in guitars. They have an awesome selection of different acoustic and electric guitars ad you can try any of them out while you're in the store, which is always a HUGE plus. you never know how a guitar is going toplay till you pick it up and give it a try. Super knowledgeble staff to help you make the best choice for you and your musical needs :O) more

Harry's Guitar Shop is a great place to shop for guitars. They have a great selection and will not hurry to choose--in fact they will encourage you test all the guitars. They have a nice selection of both acoustic and electric guitars plus all the important accessories. The staff is very nice and helpful! more

Much better than the chains and giants. 7/9/2005

Harry's biggest asset is that, unlike some stores that sell everything from oboes to strobe lights and fog machines, they focus almost exclusively on guitars, basses, amps, and accessories, which means you don't have to wander around the store, guitar in hand, looking for someone who knows what he's doing. The people who work there seem genuinely interested in helping, and I've never felt like they were trying to get me to spend more than was necessary. They carry both new and used equipment, and you can spend a little money, or, if you want to, a lot. You might pay a little more than at the superstores or in the catalogs-although usually, their prices are pretty much in line with everyone else's-but it's definitely worth it to deal with friendly people who know what they're doing. more
