Quick downtown lunch spot! 5/2/2006

Harried and hungry is a great place to grab a quick lunch, and caters to the downtown working crowd. (Of which, I am one!) They have a creative menu of soups, salads and sandwiches and everything is made to order. The restaurant is larger than it looks from outside, and there is always ample space. The sandwiches are served with a pretty garnish - and they taste great! more

Great Tuna melt 11/1/2005

Harried and Hungry is a great place to grab a quick lunch, either for dine in or to go. The menu has great sandwiches, salads and smoothies. I have eaten here several times, but seem to only order the tuna melt, because it is so good! I highly recommend Harried and Hungry! more

Best Lunch Sandwich Downtown 8/17/2005

Harried and Hungry has a short, but awesome menu of sandwiches and smoothies. My favorites are the tomato mozzarella caprese and the reuben with a peach banana non-fat yogurt smoothie. The staff moves quite quickly (but still courteously and friendly) and I've never seen any kind of tremendous back-up at lunch hour even though there are clearly many people coming through. Prices are fairly reasonable, particularly given that you will be getting a substantial sandwich. If you choose to eat there, the place has high ceilings and is well-lit. Definitely one of my favorite lunch places downtown. more

Quick Downtown Lunch Spot 8/5/2005

This cafe is fairly new and is already very popular among the downtown working crowd. It's pretty hard to find something fast and fresh that's more substantial than a smoothie. This place has smoothies too but the salads are creative and yummy, the sandwiches are all different and the soup comes with these great soft bread sticks. The space is very open and airy, and clean. I can go there 3 times a week and get very different food every time. more
