Hard Rock Pavillion Drive Very Disappointing September 30th 10/3/2011

We were looking so forward to attending the Journey/Foreigner/Nightranger concert and then found ourselves stuck in traffic for miles. What a huge disappointment!! Something needs to be done with providing more lanes and more entryways into (and out of) the Pavillion. When you spend almost $100.00 per ticket and then finally get into your seats only to see the last two songs of Foreigner it angers you to no end. We had thought about getting season tickets next year but this night shut down that idea. Something needs to be done with constructing the roads to allow for heavy traffic and get vehicles to flow in and out of the venue with much more ease. The road situation is so rediculous and concert goers who pay a lot of money for these shows should not be stressed out when they finally get inside. It is supposed to be a fun night!!! Who designed the roads? Obviously, someone who did not think it through!!! What a joke! My 12 year old could of done a better job!! more

Climbing Mount Everest would be easier 10/1/2011

Concert area itself is thought out with plenty of services and food/drink accessible. seats tons of people and the grass open seat area is an affordable way to enjoy the music even though you may need binoculars to see your favorite artist. Traffic is Horrendous though. getting into the concert venue you better leave two hours in advance and getting home after if you stay for any encores will be an hour to get out of the lot on average + your drive time. For what the reserved ticket prices are it would take nothing to fix this problem but they do not choose to do so. If i had the choice to see a favorite artist that I knew would be sold out I would avoid the hassle. It completely kills the buzz of the concert getting in and out. more

You just can't get there 7/9/2010

There just is no way to get to the pavillion for shows; traffic is backed up from the city to the show. No orgianization for getting you parked once you finally get there. And then a LOOOONG walk to the show. \r Seems the choice is either get there an hour before the show, or miss the first hour.\r Worst venue I have even been to. Pros: cheap venue Cons: access more

The Pavillion is out in no where's land. Be prepared to walk a long distance from the parking lot to the seating area. They have carts to take you if you have difficulty walking but it's a matter of catching one. more

Sold out show hardship 8/24/2004

Great venue, lots of views of the mountains and beautiful NM sky. Acts are great. However a real parking and logistics problem. If its a sold out show - leave early both coming and going. I've passed on sold out tickets just because getting in and out is a nightmare! Its sad - you spend a lot of $$$ for admission and are ripped off in your time, in being late because it takes at least an hour to park and miss the encore because if you don't your stuck for two hours. Pros: Atmosphere, line ups Cons: , logsitics, long lines more
