Win Some, Lose Some at Hard Rock 4/8/2006

I've gambled at Seminole Tampa for at least 15 years. Of course, you win some and lose some when you gamble, but I'm talking about the wins and losses brought with the conversion from Tampa Seminole casino to Hard Rock Tampa. The poker room was much friendlier and more relaxed when the casino was only owned by the Seminoles. Now, it's hard to find anyone who cares about you if you have a problem or need assistance. Waits are longer and pots are about the same. The casino is much classier and more comfortable, though. more

The Hard Rock Casino has enough slot machines for everyone - you'll never have to wait! The downside to the casino is the smoke. Being one of the very few places you can still smoke cigarettes indooors in the Tampa area, non smokers will find it difficult to tolerate. The slot machines are tied to a bingo card, so you have to score a bingo line to win, no matter what the slot brings up. The pool area and bar are fantastic to relax and enjoy a coctail. The meeting facilities and catering services are exceptional - with excellent attention to detail. If they add a Hard Rock Cafe, it would be a plus! more

A good time 7/19/2005

This was a fun time for a date recently. I had a good time but was disappointed that there is only bingo, poker (not against the house) and slots. I would like to have played black jack BUT had fun on the slots! It was a good time and nice place over all. The drinks were GREAT! I would recommend going if you have some money burning a hole in your pocket more

Variety of Stuff 7/12/2005

There is many things to do here. The slot machines are more like bingo machines. The chances of winning are lower than other casinos. The hotel is very nice. They also have a restraunt that is very good and reasonable priced. They also have a regular Hard Rock inside. They have a membership rewards program also. more

Great casino!!! 7/9/2005

This is the first REAL casino on the Tampa Bay area and its a lot of fun. Its a definite must see attraction for music and gambling fans. Plenty of poker games will keep you busy and some of the bars and restaurants are nice as well. Its a nice "getaway" place. Don't forget to check out the pool on Saturday and Sundays for some great people watching! more
