My original apartment had mold. When i reported it they gave me 5 days to move to a different apartment so that they could minimize damage to their building. I had to move all of my stuff which took me 3 days, friends help and renting a truck. I also had to pay for telephone/internet to be transfered over. Noone at the apartment building offered to help. I asked that they would at least refund the $50 that it cost to rent the truck. The office refused and told me that it wasnt their fault and that if I didnt like it i could terminate my lease. Furthermore they charged me for both apartments the two days that I was moving from one apartment to the other even through they had kicked me out of the orginial apartment and it had mold. Personally if i owned an apartment with mold, i would be embarrassed and would help the resident in anyway that I could. That Harbor Village did not do this shows a lack of responsiblity and disdain for the residence. I know that I am not wanted or appreciated at Harbor Village and I am currently looking for another residence when my lease expires.
