Best

Excellent for the health conscious person and/or special diabetic needs, etc. Steamed veggies, Brown Rice And little to no oil..based on your specification they will prepare it!!!...

Worst

They only have one waiter to work the entire place and the food isn't good at all. The crab puffs were alot of fried puff with little crab. DO NOT get the chef's special beef. ...

A WOW WOW for Hao Hao 3/17/2006

We are not easy-to-please when it comes to Oriental cuisine. So imagine our delight finding the gem of S Austin - Hao Hao (William Cannon & Manchaca). Every dish we order is filled with fresh, top quality meat, seafood, and vegetables. The Chinese and Vietnemese dishes both shine with extensive choices for both Vegetarians and Meat Eaters. I'm surprised by the service comment of a previous reviewer because the staff knew us after only a few visits and always go out of their way to be courteous and attentive. Our favorite dishes are the Hot & Sour Chicken Soup (a symphony of flavors - and a bit spicey if you eat the jalapenos), Lemongrass Tofu, and the Shrimp Egg Foo Young. You can't go wrong with any choice . . . It's all great. One of the few restaurants we would give a 10 for both food quality and value. Pros: Quality Ingredients, Large Portions, Large, Diverse Menu Cons: None, None, None more

Good food, but you feel like an imposition. 2/23/2006

Prompt seating and a good plate of food. Unfortunately, we get the inpression that the customer is a nuisance due to the fact that you can't get a tea refill without waving your arms and the soy sauce is taken away regularly for a refresher even if you're still using it. Personnel could use some public relations classes, but the food is usually good. As for us, we were regular customers, but won't be going back. Pros: Good Food Cons: Terrible Service more

I dine in at least twice a week and order out at least once. The food is always good as well as the service. I haven't had a bad meal yet. Pros: Food, Price, Service more
