DO NOT BUY A DRESS AT HANNELORE'S!!!!! I'm writing this review to WARN the many brides that step into this place NOT to buy their wedding gown here. I'm just trying to save you all the trouble I had with this place. There are some decent employees that work there but ultimately you will have to deal with the owner and she extremely disrespectful and dishonest. My advice is to skip this store period. Do yourself a favor and heed my advice. more

Perfect for some, but not for everyone. 6/10/2011

I'm a middle-aged male who stumbled through the door at Hannelores in sandles, shorts, and a t-shirt in search of a vest and bow tie for my tux. The owner, Pamela, was a delight and helped me pick out a the perfect vest. She even had her alterations person take it in for me. I've read several of the negative reviews and I'm a bit surprised. I knew going in the front door that this was a very high end store with very expensive gowns. I can only assume that if you come through the front door you are aware of the price point of Hannelores' gowns. This is not the place for everyone and I can understand if Hannelores does not wish to spend time allowing people to try own gowns they can not afford - it wastes time and puts the gowns through unnecessary wear and tear. For persepective, do you think you could walk into an Aston Martin dealer and just ask for the keys for a test drive? more

Liked: Selection, Service, Value/To Hannelores, Unfortunately, they didn?t have the that dress, but my consultant Kim said they had plenty of others to check out. So she started showing me dresses and it turns out I bought the very 1st one I tried on out of about 20 or so; Kim is THE BEST! She?s very personable, bubbly, patient, & DOES NOT pressure you into buying just anything. They have dresses from all price ranges. I would recommend this shop to all of my friends! more

suggestions. The Alteration process make the dress look like it was made for me. The dresses for brides and bridesmaids were affordable and they had a good variety. more

do NOT go here! \r \r I was FLOORED by the manager, Kimberly B's curt, at times sarcastic, condescending comments. I selected Hannelore's because they carried the dress I fell in love with from a magazine and wanted to try it on to see if it looked nice on me. Kim's comments...\r \r Your too big (size 12) for this sample size, I'll have to hold it up and you'll have imagine what it looks like. Mind you, it was a flare gown. She didn't even try to clip/pull or anything to help me decide. Being new to bridal shopping, at the time, I didn't know to even ask for that process. She said you'll have to order it and hope you like it when it comes. Really???? When I asked about additional dresses- Sweety you probably need to go elsewhere.\r \r I was even further flabbergasted to learn that she was, per her report, hand chosen to manage purchase for the salon from the owner. Hannelores is the worst place ever. They are snotty, obnoxious, and rude. They ONLY care about those that have money. They treat brides like meat, making them strip almost naked in the dressing room. The owner is the rudest of them all and her daughter follows second. Only go there if you are strong willed and not intimidated easily. The sales people want to sell anything that is expensive, and will treat you nasty if you tell them your budget is below their thousands of dollars they want to make in commission. Please ladies, take my word, go to a salon that will make your bridal experience sweet and beautiful, not rude and sadistic. more
