We ordered lunch items to go from the regular menu and not the lunch specials. We were given uncooked lamb and combination fried rice dumped with only half cooked scrambled egg ...

Solid good Chinese food, friendly staff that often includes extras (got extra soup this time and a Christmas treat, a cane full of Reeses, very festive and sweet). Delivery is very quick. The House Tofu and most of the veggie dishes I've tried have been delightful. I love the salt and pepper fish as well but my girlfriend was less into it, she liked the Sesame Chicken more and that was less my thing. Seems like everything here is high quality though and there's something for everyone. more

Tasty Vegetarian Chinese Food 6/27/2009

Hangen is a great Chinese place at affordable prices. It seems to always be relatively empty but the food is always good, especially the vegetarian selection. Would highly recommend the tangerine mushrooms and sauteed string beans. more

No fresh food and poor service 6/20/2008

Just finished dinner at Hangen. The food is really horrible. At 6:30PM Friday everning, only 5 people were having dinner, including three of us. The food was poor and not fresh. No service at all. They don't know how to cook. Very salty and unhealthy.\r \r It was a very horrible experience. I would never go there again!!! more

Avoid Sunday lunch at Hangen Szchewan Mountain View 6/15/2008

We ordered lunch items to go from the regular menu and not the lunch specials. We were given uncooked lamb and combination fried rice dumped with only half cooked scrambled egg and really stale rice. We are regulars at Hangen for the past couple of years and looks like the food quality and quantity is gradualy deteriorating! more

Yucky food. The food was cold and extremely salty. My rice was like it was taken out of a freezer and heated in a microwave for 30 seconds. \r \r The waiters sat at a table nearby and were seriously reading newspaper..never bothered to take care of any customer.\r \r Very bad experience. Will never go again. If possible, I would like to give a negative grade.\r \r I ordered: Fried rice, string beans(Have never tasted such soggy and salty beans before in my life), Scallop and chow mein" more

Good Chinese Restaurant at an affordable price 4/17/2005

This is mine and mine husband's favorite chinese restaurant. The prices are pretty reasonable and service is fast and efficient too. I like the full course lunch menu with soup and salad and then the main course. Finally comes a little icecream (served in cute fashion ) and the fortune cookie. Really a good menu for the price you pay. more
