Can't say any more, Great Bagel. Ate it with some Nova from Zabar's on the bench in middle of the street. Pros: Great Bagel Cons: No Milk

Worst

I was a long-time fan of H&H bagels, even ordering them via UPS when out of town. However, the last order I received was a major disappointment. They've changed the recipe! Ins...

H&H are Churchlady Style Fluffy Bagels 1/20/2007

This fluffed up whitebread doughbomb has NOTHING to do with the real Brooklyn bagels that are the real NY deal. This is a mass-produced ripoff that sells to out of towners, wannabe shiksas, and gen-Y mall rats. The WORST. more

Classic staple 4/13/2006

If you want a bit of old NY, get a dozen fresh baked bagels from H&H. I used to get them shipped to me when I went away to college. Chewy and sweet, perfectly seasoned, a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese and lox is the perfect breakfast to get me going. more

Great Bagels that are Perhaps a Bit *Too* Popular. 1/12/2006

As a lover of bagels I've eaten my fair share of these delicious carb filled breakfast treats but, in all my journeys, H&H Bagel Inc remains the place to pick one up, straight from the over. Though I like my bagels plain and simple, with just a bit of butter, the variety at H&H Bagels certainly is not lacking. Poppy, sesame, and cinnamon raisin -- they're all there for you to enjoy. The only downside to H&H Bagels is is popularity which can sometimes lead to long lines and with no place to sit on the run is really the only way to eat them. more

The Taste Of NY 12/3/2005

Bring back a dozen bagels, two packages of Philadelphia cream cheese and some lox. You can order everything from Zabar's http://shop.zabars.com/on/demandware.store/WFS/Zabar-ZabarStorefront-Site/ Another food that has NY written all over it is Junior's Cheese Cake ... a NY classic since the 1950's http://www.juniorscheesecake.com/ more

Classic and excellent bagels! 10/6/2005

H and H is the place for bagels. Everyone knows that! They have hot delicious bagels in all kinds of different flavors. The only problem is that it smells so good, and you really want to have some right there, but there is not place to sit and they won't make you a sandwich. You can purchase cream chesse, etc. by the tub, but you have to go outside and make the sandwich for yourself. I still recommend doing it - Great bagels! more

Bagel Heaven 8/15/2005

Althoug I think they have slipped a bit in recent years. this remains the best bagel store in town. The smell of fresh bagels on a Sunday morning makes the trip worth it. After, you can walk down the block for some of the lox in town. The line can be long but it ends to move quickly. For bagels it is quite pricey, but hey, this is NY, what do you expect. more
