Its improving daily!!! 5/26/2005

I used to be a frequnt guest to the Hamlet in Valencia and it started to go down hill, so i stoped going. But when driving by the other day i saw the parking lot full and a new paint job, so i decided to give it a try again. When entering i noticed a drastic difference in apperance, more tv's, carpet, and much more. As soon as i walked in everybody was so friendly to me and treated me like family. I tried thier new Chateaubriand burger and was blown away. Their food is still great and they are obviously trying hard to satisfy their guests. The service has improved but still has room to improve. I definitly will go back and plan to become a frequent face again. more

What Happened? 3/25/2005

Hamburger Hamlet used to be a good restaurant that was jam packed. The hamburgers were superb. On my last visit, though, it was a dud. The restaurant was nearly empty and the service was crummy. Food was average at best. I don't think I'll be back. A fast food burger would be better and cheaper. more

Superb Service! 12/14/2002

I visited Hamburger Hamlet in Valencia last Tuesday night. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by the Host. What made this special was that she actually talked to me on the way to the table! Most of the time a Host just walks 10 feet ahead, like a robot. When the waitress came over, she too was exceptionally freindly. Describing some new specials they were offering made me hungry. Throughout the meal, the waitress, then a manager, and the host came over to se if I needed anything. The food was great, but the service was beyond the usual. In fact it was superb! The only thing I did not understand was that it was not too busy. It is a great find. Pros: Serice, Food, decor more

Hamburger Hell 6/13/2002

How is this place still standing? This place is awful! You would think you would find the best hamburger here right? Since it isnt fast food but a real restaurant? Wrong! I even tried to eat here twice! Both times were so bad! The hamburger is so gross! The service was not that great either. It is so empty in there you would think you would at least get a refill...nope more
