I called to send flowers to my wife for our anniversary. Turns out I had a couple extra bills I'd forgotten about and needed to cancel the order. I don't know if he said his name was Nick or Rick, but he was very rude on the phone and seemed rather annoyed with me having to cancel the order. I apologized about the situation and asked when the order would be cancelled and my money would be returned. It wasn't forceful or anything, and not like those stuffy impatient questions that people ask. I just wanted to make sure I had enough time so my PECO check didn't bounce. He was such an ass to me on the phone about it and gave me the nastiest attitude with his ""I'm cancelling it right now, sir. Did you not hear me before?"" If I could've slammed the phone down harder, I would have. Sorry to inconvienience your day by making sure I'm financially set in other areas, pal. I work in customer service, and if I fielded a call like that, I'd get canned. If you're having that rough of a day, you should probably find another job, and definitely not in customer service. I looked up local florists online to see if I could get a better deal than the other sites, and it saved me a few dollars (not by much, but I know flowers can be expensive), but that kind of nonsense isn't worth saving a few dollars. You just lost a customer.
