We went to this restaurant for the romantic atmosphere. It was a nice old farmhouse, etc...and tastefully decorated. However, the tables, chairs and paper placemat..gave it a cheap touch to a very nice dining area...small and quaint.. Food was very expensive for the quality and quanity. I used a $25 gift certificate, however, I still felt the final tab was overpriced. I watched a spider crawling behind my head on the wall and the window had a draft. Fireplace was nice. With a redue of the dining area to period tables and chairs, and better place setting...and more attention to detail on the quality and quanity of food,,,,it would rate much higher...But can't see returning with the current shortfalls. Seems food critic posting in Richmond Paper recently..agreed with my review. Revamp the dining room and food to enhance the other qualities the farmhouse has to offer.
Pros: Romantic, Historic setting
Cons: Expensive, Food uninspiring
