Main store is the best 6/10/2010

When I lived in Irving, I went to the flagship HB on Northwest Highway. It is the best! It is very large. I love sipping coffee from their coffee bar and looking through a book or two. more

I love this store! 8/15/2005

I went into this store to find a few books for my daughter that LOVES books. Unfortunatly shes of the age where she destroys them while looking at them. This store has a TON of childrens books and the prices are excellent! The employees were definatly willing to help in everyway possible. I am definatly impressed with a set of books they had from when I was a child, and the entire set was in excellent shape!! What a great store! more

Forget Barnes and Noble! 8/8/2005

If you are a voracious reader like my husband and I, you will LOVE Half Price Books. We can wander around the aisles for hours. The best is their selection of vintage books and magazines. So fun to look at old National Geographics! Also, the employees are willing to help you look for a book. Very cost effective too! This is a great locally owned business. Supporting locally owned businesses is always important to keep the local economy running strong! more

Sell books, etc. for cash 7/6/2005

My son introduced me to Half Price Books because he loves to read and collects books. This is a terrific place to buy books at a reduced rate, and a wonderful store to have handy when you clean house and have books, magazines, movies, and records you want to get rid of. Instead of throwing them away or giving them away, why not get some cash for them? They sell 3 linear feet of books for $17.50 for decorating purposes, too. That's a great way to recycle books that no one wants to buy to read. The books they don't sell are donated, so nothing goes to waste. It is a place to get lost in if you love to read. If you've never been, drop in some time and see what all they have at a fantastic price, then think about all the unwanted items you have that you can get cash for. more
