who cares if you go to a pricey, exclusive hair salon as long as you're happy with your $35 haircut here, every time? i used to get my hair cut by anna but she quit, now i book appointments to see maya. she does really nice layers. i'm currently trying to grow out my short hair that was originally cut in an a-line. she texturizes it perfectly everywhere, and puts short layers at the top so it gives my hair more volume. i feel that i am growing my hair out more gracefully than i ever have before (haha). and i've been asked several times where i get my hair done, not kidding. also, she is really good at never cutting off any length by my request. i hate it when hairstylists don't listen, and cut off length when you specifically tell them not to. but maya is a good listener and also gives useful opinions when needed. and does great work!
