I had natural hair (unpermed) and I went to Hair Dynamic to have a dye job. The owner, Sharon was the one who consulted me. She was very polite and courteous. She brought me to her color technician, who advised her, etc. From her comments, I could tell that she knew absolutely nothing about natural hair, although she assured me she did. But I figured dye is dye, right? Wrong. I wanted a honey blonde color, and I brought her at least 10 pictures to illustrate the color I wanted. She kept finding excuses about why she couldn't make my hair that color, ""In that picture, there are actually 3 color dimensions...which one do you want"", etc. She was very confused about the concept of color. She dyed my hair, and it turned out dry and brittle.... and when I left the shop my hair was the same color as when I came in. She called me back later saying that because she didn't know that natural hair required a different process, my hair color didn't ""take"", and that she's consulted her color technician and now knows how to do it. She assured me that I could come back the next week (and that it would be safe) so she could re-do it. The next week, she bleached my hair to a stark, pure yellow. She left the bleach developer on for 40 minutes. Then she toned my hair right back down to dark brown. She was so clueless, too. And when my hair was changing color, she called yellow ""orange"", brown ""red"". She really had no concept of color. Long story short, every last shred of my natural hair fell out due to her inexperience and lack of knowlege. (I had 3 years worth of growth). I thought because she was the owner, she'd know something, but as it turns out , I was her experimental guinea pig. \r

She was very courteous, but if you want someone who actually knows what they're doing to your hair, stay away from this shop!
