what about black skin? 12/7/2010

my experience was great! they had a black person for their facials so i felt confident that they knew about black skin since she no longer works their i don't trust many with my skin. esp since in beauty school they usually only teach a few classes. I no longer use their facial services and think it was poor on their part to not hire both. as far as someone who is familiar with black skin more

Fabulous stylist!!! 2/13/2009

I've followed Gina since she had her own salon in Uptown. I'm hoping she stays at H Design for a long time...the place is clean, friendly and fun. Gina is also the best stylist I've ever had. She is caring, careful and becomes a friend after the first visit...worth every penny! more

Home of at least two great professionals 9/24/2008

I've gone to H. Design's Karen Goldfarb and Niki Hauck for approximately 15 years--even before they were at H. Design. Both are fantastic people, total professionals and great at what they do. While I can't attest to the others who work there, I have noted over time that many of the staff in the salon itself seem to have remained intact through the months and years. I definitely strongly recommend considering and checking out this salon! more

haven't been here for a while 8/3/2005

I haven't been to this salon for a while but when I used to go I saw a man named Jeff who did amazing things with my hair. he always listened to what I wanted, explained (in a nice way) if they were or were not possible, and did his best to make me look amazing. I was totally in love with him...until I saw flowers on his table from Roy. ok, I was still in love with him after that! more
