I've been goign for ~4 years now and this is the best Dr. I've ever seen. Why? 1. she has all the equipment RIGHT THERE so you don't need more appointments if she sees something...

I was a patient here for years and put up with a lack of concern for my time because I thought the level of surveillance was tops. Last visit, the doc herself was inexcusably rude...

Good doctor; bad tech 11/17/2011

Good: Dr Guthaner is very thorough. She will have images re-taken until she is satisfied with the clarify and she goes over the films with each patient in person. The dressing area and robes are discrete and comfortable.. Bad: The last time I visited (which was several years ago), the x-ray tech was very rough and hurt me to the point of tears. I couldn't stop crying and felt abused and humiliated. As much as I like Dr. Guthaner, I've never been back for fear of encountering the rough technician again.. Improvements: Dr. Guthaner should make it priority to hire competent and caring technicians for her staff.. more

Best I've ever seen 10/25/2011

I've been goign for ~4 years now and this is the best Dr. I've ever seen. Why? 1. she has all the equipment RIGHT THERE so you don't need more appointments if she sees something 2. she reads all the films and compares them to earlier films RIGHT WHILE YOU ARE THERE 3. If she sees something, she will invite you back to look at the films with her 4. She is incredibily thorough. If you are looking for a new friend, maybe you need to go elsewhere, I find her professional, competent, straightforward and above all the best in her field. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants peace of mind that they don't have breast cancer to go there. more

The best available 6/8/2010

I have been going to Dr. Guthaner for years. Her skill in what she does has been proven to me with examples of her acute diagnosis. I have friends who have moved out of area, who still travel here to see her. It is a good feeling coming out of her office feeling secure in the knowledge that you have received the best. more
