Amazing! 12/30/2009

This was always one of my favorite bookstores in NY. Loads of browsing fun, squeezing through tiny little rows of gazillions of books. Made for the booklover. A rare treat in today's bookstore modernization. Beyond cool! more

West Side Book Institution 7/7/2005

These guys have been around for 20+ years. They sell used books and carry quite an eclectic selection. I've purchased a few nice art books here over the years. They seem to feel each book is special and therefore price the books a bit high. This is not the type of place where you are going to fill up a shopping bag for a few bucks on the other hand they are great at tracking obscure books down which in the days before eBay was an important skill for a used book seller to have. more
