Green's Toyota of Lexington

My wife and I needed a second car and took some steps in advance. We made peace with our credit scores, saved for a down payment and did a lot of research online about the cars and insurance quotes on what "we" feel we wanted as well as what we could really afford at our ages. We visited several car dealers in the area and were smacked down with sales overkill and finally then went to Green's Toyota. We were greeted by salesman Joe Mooris who was very knowledgeable as well as customer friendly (no high pitched sales, just a home town folk who knows his stuff). We talked and he had shown us several vehicles on the lot, but what we wanted was not there, he made a few calls and had our new car delivered to the lot in just a few days and twenty minutes after that we had the keys in our hands! We have had our new Toyota Corolla for 3 months now (I waited this long to write a real review) and found it under rated in both performance and gas mileage. Our Corolla is beyond our wildest expectation as far as performance. It seems weird but the transmission is different than any I have ever seen by maintaining speeds going uphill without going into a passing gear. During a 600 mile trip to visit our family we averaged 42.8 mpg with my lead foot and average 32 mpg here in Lexington. I have been very impressed with both Toyota and Green's Toyota. Next year we are thinking about getting a new 2nd car and yep I will be going back to Green's and it will be another Toyota! Thanks Joe and thank you Green's. James & Barbara Walker Lexington KY! I take my Toyota Corolla to Green's Toyota of Lexington for all my service needs: oil changes, belt replacements, any service requirements. They are friendly, professional and courteous. They also have a very large, comfortable waiting room, with cable tv, magazines, lots of seats, some tables, and a snack bar open at lunchtime, I believe. There are also snack and drink vending machines, and a children's play area (very family friendly!). I highly recommend Green's to anyone needing an automotive service provider for their Toyota vehicle. They are also a Toyota dealer, so you can buy a car there as well, if you are in the market for a Toyota vehicle. more
