Inexpensive place for basic haircuts and trims 9/13/2005

My family has been going to Great Clips since it opened several years ago. It is perfect for my husband and son and I get trims there too. Adult cuts are $10 and kids' are $8.00. They also do beard trims, perms, and styling. They do not do color. The stylists tend to be graduates of Chic and very competent, although they never seem to stay for more than a year. My husband and both had horrible experiences with one guy there, but he's gone now. Our other experiences have been good to very good. If you usually go to Jeffrey Richard or Panopolous or the like, this isn't for you. But for a cheap basic cut, this is the place. more

Amazing Service! 6/29/2005

This Great Clips location has the most amazing employees. They truly know what they're doing. I find that lots of hairstylists just start chopping away before they know what you want done, but these women asked lots of questions and always double-checked. I love the cut I received! more

How much in a hurry are they 6/28/2005

I went to Great Clips for the first time during the $4.99 a haircut deal, and was not impressed whatsoever. I specifically asked for my hair to be cut dry, and she did, so that was nice, but she hurried through my haircut faster than most male's heads are shaved. My hair is quite long, about 6 inches past my shoulders. It has a bit of a wave to it, so it's very important to get it straight & even, but she didn't even look like she cared. From then on I decided I would save the $5 and cut it myself. more
