Excellent Care and Service Beyond Expectations 10/19/2007

I have been using this office for close to 10 years. They have after hours appointments for sick children and will call you back at night if you leave a message with the answering service. Sometimes you see several doctors when you go in after hours, but that's because you end up seeing whoever is on call. When you go in for well visits, you see the same doctor each time. I recommend them for everyone who asks! I figure that if I am happy with the service they give(I work in Customer Service), then most people would be too. more

Very Happy with Doctors 12/2/2005

The pediatricians in the Myrtle Beach are ALL overcrowded. Grand Strand Pediatrics handles it well. When you child is sick they will make you an appointmnt for that very same today. (you will be worked in between the other appointments.) They have a "well" room and a "sick" room so your well child is not mingling with sick children in the waiting room. My daughter has been seeing them for about 1 1/2 years. She is 2 now. The Doctors don't rush through examination even though they sometimes get backed up. When you are waiting in the waiting room, remember that you would not like them to rush through YOUR childs appointment so you shouldn't expect them to rush through someone else's appointment. Usually wait time for a well visit is pretty short. I have never waited over 15 minutes. For a sick child though I have waited for 1 1/2 hours before. If there is a virus or flu going around, it is hard for them to schedule an overload of sick patients in one day! I don't mind the wait for good c more

NOT HAPPY AT ALL 11/12/2005

Well my daughter was sick and since we just moved to MB i asked around and most seemed to go to this practice. I however was very upset with the care we recived. The doctor was very quick to rull her fever and cough to her allergies and loaded her up on meds costing over $100.00. I had to ask them to take her temperature!!!!! Well we scheduled a follow up with the doctor and after waiting over 35 minutes to be seen and people who arrived after us going in, we see a different doctor for a follow up!!!!! Why schedule an appointment for a dr if he isn't going to be there to see her! Well I guess it kinda worled out as Dr. Daniels said it was not allergies but a chest cold and took her off the steroids and all the other meds she was on. So $40 in office fees & $100 in presciption bills (not even needed!!!!) I have come to the conclusion I WILL NOT BE BACK! PROS: long wait time. Not happy at all with dr.'s CONS: more
