I have always had a warm welcome and delightful experience when I go to Gordon's Salon on Clark. The staff is amazing..not to mention the talent and professionalism within it's walls. The people that work at Gordon's know the reason why they work there. It's all about the client. Young, old ... it doesn't matter. You are going to receive the same treatment as I have on a consistent basis. Do yourself a favor and make your next appointment at Gordon's. more

Brooke gave a great head/shoulder massage and wash. Amanda gave a great scissor cut to a guy with thick and longish hair. I am a return customer for sure, already scheduled my next appointment! more

Salon Experience 12/13/2011

I have been using Gordon's for at least the last 4 years and it's been great. Friendly, down to earth, really talented. I have been using Aveda associated salons since 1992 and they are the best. CJ is my stylist and I'm always happy when I walk out the door. She's the best! more

CJ is the best. The service at Gordon is excellent, and I really feel like I found the person to cut my hair. It was quite a search and I found some terrible salons in Chicago. What a relief to find a quality artist, service, and ambiance. more

Amazing Aveda Salon 11/28/2011

I have been going to Gordon's in Lakeview for the past 7 years. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else for my hair. The service is fantastic, but more importantly the haircuts, color, etc. are always amazing. I have sent many friends here and will continue to. CJ is the stylist I use, and she is great at listening to what I want and also weighing in with her expertise as well. Spa is great, too! more

I have been going to Melissa Messer for over a year now. Each time I go, I think I've received the best haircut of my life. Then I go back and am even more pleased. She is great at listening to what you want and loves it when you bring in pictures. more

Awesome Service! 11/8/2011

I had my color done by Cynthia and it was an great experience. She took the time to listen to what I had to say and made sure it was exactly what I wanted. My hair is very dark and I wanted to go lighter but with me getting the Japanese Relaxer done earlier in the summer we had to make sure that the color was safe for my hair. Cynthia explained all of this to me and did a patch test to ensure that my hair would not be damaged. I LOVE the way that my hair turned out and am looking forward to my next appointment! more

Once again I had a great experience at Gordon's. Amanda, my stylist, always takes the time to pamper me, regardless of what service I'm visiting the salon for on any particular day. Additionally, this visit was Customer Appreciation Day so there were mimosas and discounted products. Great surprise! more

Great Results 10/31/2011

I really enjoyed my experience at Gordon Salon & Spa. They really wanted to make sure that my highlights came out the way that I wanted them, so they asked specific details and made sure I was 100% comfortable with what they were going to do (where as many other salons I have been to just end up doing what they want and barely ask any questions to what I would like.) The color and cut turned out great! My only drawback was that it was a little timely for them compared to other salons that I have been to. Besides that, it was a pleasurable experience. more

Eric is awesome! He gives a thorough consultation before he begins, asks for what you like and what you don't. He never seems rushed, and never distracted by other things going on in the salon. Excellent customer service. I highly recommend Eric. more

Not the best massage 10/29/2011

I have been a member of Gordon's massage club for a year and a half. The quality of the massage has gone down hill. I feel like all they do is rub oil on me and work it in with their fingers. I won't be renewing my membership when its up. more

What happened to my favorite salon? 10/27/2011

I used to love this salon and went here religiously for neat three years.y stylist left and the person they set me up with didn't listen to anything I told him. I usually get a highlight/lowlight and toner. He only game me a highlight that looked really cheap. And he is a "master stylist" so he charges more than my other guy. I'm not paying for a terrible color, especially when I told you what to do. And what fine salon doesn't use a toner after a highlight? more

Friendly salon. Nice conversation with stylist and with client in next chair. No pretentions. Down to earth. Very courteous and comfortable. Good coffee. Easy to get appointment. And GREAT haircut. more
