Gordo Taqueria

Gordo Taqueria has a small selection of Mexican food. They have some great service, and easy in and out service. They have some decent prices, however they don't have any monster sized portions as they would offer in the Mission. If your in it for those monster sized take outs, then go to the Mission. If you just want to fill yourself for lunch, then Gordo isn't a bad place. more

Gordo is one of my favourite taqueria in town. The place itself is not very fancy but they have great burritos. They are huge. I usually get the quesadilla with black beans and rice. They open a few in town. more

Can you say fill me up for about $5? This is the place for starving students and people on a budget who want good mexican food at a super cheap price. Their quesadillas are to die for and their burritos are huge! I'd say people on a diet, beware of this place. Parking is pretty much a hit or miss so I'd suggest taking the bus or walking. This is one place I'd definitely recommend for people who want a full meal at a cheap price. more

Being the Mexican food enthusiast that I am, I'm always on the lookout for new Mexican restaurants that I haven't been to. Well, one day in S.F., I got hungry for some burritos, and I discovered a small one near where I was hunting for garage sales. I ordered a simple chicken burrito (it comes with tortilla chips). I didn't know that it was going to be heaven (all I knew was that I was hungry for some food, fast). BOY, I finished that HUGE burrito fast. I'm not lying when I say it's the best burrito I've tasted (so far). Plus, the cooks and waiters who work there are really nice. They gave me free guacamole (you have to pay a small fee if you want it with your chips. salsa is free, though). IF YOU LOVE MEXICAN FOOD, YOU HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE. I'M SERIOUS. TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK. more
