WORSE OFFICE SKILLS 7/7/2010

I made my appointment almost 2 weeks in advance and confirmed not once, but twice that they had received the referral form. On the day of the appointment I had my PCP's office fax over the x-ray report. When I arrived at Dr. Gonzalez office 30 minutes prior to my appointment the ""front desk receptionist"" ask me for my referral. I informed her that I had confirmed that the referral was received with whoever works the ""appointment/medical records"" section over a week ago. The ""front desk receptionist"" response was ""I don't have it. I only work up here, I don't know what happens in the back."" Gosh, what kind of team work is that? You wipe your hands and come across like it isn't your job. Where is the patient satisfaction? I had to call my PCP's office and request that they re-fax the referral after they had confirmation that it was faxed. And, needless to say, had the x-ray dept. re-fax the x-ray report as well as they informed me that wasn't received either. And, then when I asked for that person that worked the ""appointment/medical records"" section, to no surprise the receptionist informs me she isn't in. It seems that they need a good ""office manager."" more

Worse visit ever 8/19/2009

We waited six weeks for an appointment for my three year old son, he was scratching the skin off his legs. We had taken him to the ER but there was nothing they could do for him. We called the doctor back and they held us to his appointment, they would not see us any earlier. When our appointment finally arrived we were told they no longer accepted that insurance and threw it back across the counter to me. My son can hardly walk due to the pain, they offered NO alternatives, no help, not even sympathy or apologies. When I asked to speak to someone in charge we were told she would not be back for a week and we could call then. I have never ever been treated so bad anywhere, and my son still has problems that we are trying hard to address, with no help or compassion from this place. Please read this and make sure thet accept your insurance before it cost you time and your dignity. Cons: Waited 6 weeks for appointment more
