Best

Whoever says the guac is to die for is lieing, it's watery and lacks texture, with that said this place still recieves 5 stars for being the cause of an amazing night; great drink...

Overpriced and mediocre 5/21/2006

You can skip this place. The food is over-priced and not that good. It's also loud and has staff that is by turns surly and condescending. The big tacky sombrero on the outside of the place is the best thing about it. If you must have a tacky mexican food experience, go to Caliente Cab Co.instead, which has better prices, better food and is much funnier. more

free tortillas. 4/6/2006

Gonzalez y Gonzalez isn't exactly what I would call a great restaurant, but their dishes are decently priced (on the cheaper side actually) for a New York Mexican place. I especially love that you get free chips and salsa when you are seated and when you run out...they refill it. I always like to try something new everytime I go, but mostly I get the tacos (either chicken or shrimp), the chimichangas, or the Pollo Gonzalez. For the appetizer, I always get the calamari. There is also a crab stuffed calamari that I've never tried. Let me know how it is. more

Ole! 7/30/2005

Decorated in Mexican art, this restaurant is beautiful. The menu has a wonderful selection of meals. My favorite is the chicken and turkey quesadilla as well as the fried ice cream. The margaritas are awesome! On Friday and Saturday nights they invite a dj or band in and break out the disco ball! Dinner and dancing! more
