Best

Oh My Gosh ! I discovered Goldberg's about 5 years ago, I have not eaten another store bought Bagel again. I was eating Masada with an occasional Einstein's. After getting ahold...

Worst

Wouldn't recommend the potato skins since they were nearly inedible (along with rest of our food). Bad service from everyone we interacted with. What else is there?

There is a lot of excitement brewing as Goldberg's expands into the Airport! Now you can take our yummy products with you when you travel!! more

Worst Cobb I have had in years. 4/19/2012

I had the Cobb salad today at Goldbergs. The salad had pieces that were clearly old and discolored. There was a tiny bit of chicken, two small pieces of avacado, a tiny amount of chopped tomato and a mountain of salad (very unappetizing). It cost 10.99 and was not worth it. The one boiled egg was old and rubbery. The sandwich my friend had looked good, but the salad was really terrible. Not worth it by any stretch of the imagination. more

AWFUL PLACE! 2/27/2011

You need to check out the health inspection scores at each establishment (or online, since I doubt they post them.)Super Low! West Paces just got a 53. Too much to pay for not such great food. more

Worst Sandwich Every 1/29/2009

I just finished an egg salad sandwich. It was THE blandest thing I have ever had. Not only terrible egg salad, but it was literally tasteless. The baked chips were my only salvation. I couldn't believe it. They just opened the store in Marietta, but I doubt I'll go back. It is an oxymoron to say it left a bad taste in my mouth. more

No wonder there's a bad taste in your mouth 9/9/2008

I can tell you after working in restaurants for ten years that I have only heard of the practice of making servers pay for the convenience of using a credit card machine once. That was the Ritz-Carlton. more

Horrid Management, Grossly Overpriced and Questionable Owner 8/20/2008

I have been to both the West Paces location and the Dunwoody Deli. Service is nice, yet the food is terribly overpriced. I paid with a credit card and the waiter suggested we tip in cash because the owner deducts from each credit card tip in order to cover the AMEX cost. I find this to be horrid considering wait staff works for commission. I also witnessed management yelling at a line cook and using extremely derogatory lanuage. I find this behavior highly inappropriate and unacceptable from a place of business. Although the food was satisfactory, the questionable management and ownership have secured that I will never contribute money to the oppressive practices at Goldberg's Deli. Cons: Management and Owner more

OMG!!!!! 6/13/2008

Oh My Gosh ! I discovered Goldberg's about 5 years ago, I have not eaten another store bought Bagel again. I was eating Masada with an occasional Einstein's. After getting ahold of the real thing, (made fresh every morning, from scratch, none of this frozen stuff.) If I cannot get to Goldberg's I just do without. Cons: Alway's Packed out. Need to increase space. more

Better Service, Better Bagels, Goldberg's 4/18/2008

I gave this place 5 starts, but I have to offer you a strong warning. Unless you want the kind of quality that will make your mother jealous, and the kind of food quality that is VERY habit forming, this place is not for you. I have been a patron for over 10 years. Pros: You'll want to come back again and again. Cons: You'll want to come back again and again. more

Highly Over Priced not authentic ny style either 9/7/2007

If this Goldbergs is as close as your gonna get to NYC style deli/bagels then I really need to open my own place! I paid 10.00 for a tiny bagel with lox. All I wanted was the bagel yet I was forced somehow to have the luch special that included a measly pickle and tiny cup of fruit. Save your money and go to Ensteins at least you get a larger, moderately priced bagel for you money. Mr. Goldberg you gotta a lot of Chutzpah charging that much for lox with a smear!!!! Pros: the food was good Cons: highly overpriced more

from a new yorkers perspective 2/24/2007

Best Deli in Atlanta, probably all of the South. Food, Service, and Attitude can easily compete with New Yorks finest deli's, Plus some southern charm. Highly reccomend bagel and lox. Expect Lines. Pros: Food Cons: wait time more

Great Food - Customer Service Lacking 1/27/2007

The food here is excellent - only complaint is the guy at the cashier who does not know the meaning of good customer service. He gives you a dirty look every time you do not leave him a dollar in the tip jar for a $7 to go order. A polite thank you and have a nice day would be a good addition to his vocabulary . Aside from this, the sandwiches are great, breakfasts are hearty, and service great. more

bad food, worse service. 1/1/2007

Wouldn't recommend the potato skins since they were nearly inedible (along with rest of our food). Bad service from everyone we interacted with. What else is there? more

Yay! A Northeastern style Jewish Deli in Atlanta 5/15/2006

Coming from the Northeast, I am so happy that Goldberg's exists in Atlanta. Good Jewish delis are extremely rare in Georgia....there are about 2 of them. Goldberg's sells Challah bread, Hamantashen, Matzoh Ball Soup, Blintzes, Rugalech, awesome bagels, and terrific sandwiches. The service is polite, yet quick enough to service the line waiting for their yummy brunches and northeatern style deli sandwiches. I think we will make this a weekly ritual. Their chicken salad is the best and I have made special trips to buy a little container of it (Chunks of pure white chicken and it isn't drenched in mayo). Seating is an issue, but it is worth the wait. Pros: Food, Chicken Salad Rocks, Jewish Desserts more

Munch, crunch, lunch 6/4/2002

Without a doubt, the best reubens in the city come from Goldberg's. Tender, meaty corned beef is piled between sweet sour kraut, swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing, while the insides are delicately squished between two pieces of chewy rye bread. Get the cole slaw as a side--it has just the right touch of mayonnaise for taste. And the salty pickles served on the side, mmmm. Don't forget to wash it all down with a Dr. Brown's cream soda. more

Great Bagels 5/29/2002

What a treat! This place makes one of the best pastrami on rye sandwiches I've had in a long time. Some folks with larger appetites might have thought it wasn't hefty enough, but it was fine for me. It made for a perfect for lunch with a Dr. Browns and a half-sour pickle. As for the bagels, these are the best I've had since I've moved to Atlanta. And Goldberg's also bakes bialys. Next time I go, I'm taking a whole carload home. Pros: the bagels Cons: small seating area more
