My name is Lisette, and I have been working as Sheila's (now lead) extensionist for about one year.
I will repeat ad nauseum that my time in this job has been one of the more rewarding experiences in my professional life yet.
I love what I do for work. And I equally love that I work for someone who's passionate enough to throw her very best into the business she's created on a DAILY basis (and I mean serving our clients' needs even on the days she has off). For every hundred clients or so, I suppose its unreasonable to assume that one may not be satisfied with our work. The ramifications of operating your own business are that you're clearly not going to please everyone, and you just have to deal. What I have found refreshingly different about our approach at Goddess is the ""try and try again"" ethic that Sheila demands not only from herself, but from her staff. If there is hair problem we can't fix, 90% of the time we will experiment until we discover a method that works. Creating an environment where women can return time and again and know that they're getting the best damage-free answer to their hair concerns is precisely why we're here.
Plain and simple, hair extensions are what we do, but ""Hair-apy"" is what we're known for. I'm blessed to have met so many awesome ladies I get to not only provide a relevant service for, but have the chance to connect and grow with in a totally rewarding client/stylist, continual basis.
Goddess rocks my block. I tell my gals (and my boss) every day...
Pros: Loyal extensionists breed loyal clients.
