Best

Been going here ever since Glow was open. Love it! My pedi stayed on very well for weeks. Great service! The ambiance is great!

I wanted nice toe nails for all the sandal-wearing I'd be doing on a cruise. I went in there and sure, they give you candy, but I'd prefer they took some time to make my toes nic...

alright place 12/29/2005

I have been to Glow Hand and Foot Spa twice on my luch break. Because i work at USF, this spa is very close to work. The first time I went, the employees were very friendly and did open up a new set of utensils to work on my hands and feet. The lady did make alright conversation, and I did leave the spa in time to eat luch and return to work. The second time that I went, however, I did not have a great experience. Although I did have an appointment, I was made to wait extra, whcih as not conveinent for me because I had to return to work. I did pick out a color, but this time, for some reason, the polish chipped excesively the next day. I do not know if I will be returning ere anytime soon becuse I was late for work and when I asked the lady to rush just a bit because I needed to return to work, she was not very polite afterwards. more

an ok place 11/19/2005

Glow Hand and Foot Spa is located near Albersons on Fulton Street. When you first go into the salon, they ask you to chose a color to use. The first time I went into the salon, I did not like it because even though the manicurist opened a new set of nail utensils, she did not even cut my nails; she just filed them down. Also, the lady did not understand english, which seems really bizarre to me that she "has" a licensce to do nails if she does not even speak english. But, the second time that I went here, they again opened a new set of utensils to use for my nails, and the lady made conversation, and was different from the first lady that helped me. The one thing that I did not like was that the workers sopke in the native tongue, which makes me uncomfortable because you do not know what they are talking anout, and especially if they are talking about you. But, I personally would not go to Glow Hand and Foot Spa because I do not think it is worth it. There are many other places that you can go to instead that do a better job and with better customer service. more

a good place 11/15/2005

Because I got to school just up the block from this hand and foot spa, i go there about every few weeks. the first time I went there, i did not like it because the lady that did my nails did not even cut them. but, after i kept going back there for a manicure and pedicure, they began talking with me like they've known me forever. i never have an appointment when i go down and the people that work there never mind. they always tell me to just pick a color and they will be with me shortly. the longest that i ever had to wait for them to do my nails without an appointment was about 10 minutes. the prices are pretty afforable and the parking is also pretty reasonable. i would recommend the glow hand and foot spa to anyone i know! more

Great spa 8/15/2005

Located at the Fulton Street, Glow Hand and Foot spa is one of the better spas i have been to. Glow hand and foot spa is trying to specialize in the hand and foot area though not necessarily. Great people and great state of the art facility. My strong advice would be to try one of their packages which will help reduce costs for you. Great place with great facilities and great ambience. more

Glow Hand and Foot Spa 8/5/2005

Glow Hand and Foot Spais cozy & small. It has a relaxing atmosphere and prices are good. I was 15 minutes late for my massage and they were really cool about it and gave me time to relax before starting and I had my full hour massage. I really appreciated that. However, I went in for a massage based on good reviews on Insider Pages and Citysearch and in the end, my masseuse practically beat me up. I was bruised for about 2 weeks after the massage. My arms had black and blue marks all over. Plus, the massage was not very enjoyable since I had to endure so much pain. In the end, I thought maybe what she was doing would make me more relaxed and get rid of the knots in my back, etc., but end result was that I had to wear long sleeves for two weeks and I was not particularly relaxed or feeling less tight. I might consider going back but would never go to the same masseuse. I wish I remembered her name so I could warn people but it was a few months ago. more

Reasonable Prices for Terrific Mani/Pedi 8/4/2005

Located conveniently next to Albertson's Fulton Market, Glow is a great nail salon that just opened in the city. With reasonable prices and quick and professional service, I would definitely come here again for a mani/pedi. Not your typical hole in the wall city nail salon, Glow has those super-comfy spa pedicure chairs with back massage and foot sauna. Definitely no Dr. Scholl's foot spas here. You can be confident that everything is clean and sterilized. Other services offered include facials, massages, and waxing. Validated parking in the Albertson's lot. more
