I went there 2 weeks ago.No one seated us, I had to get my own menus, the service was neither friendly nor unfriendly. I sent the soup back for being too salty. The decor - black vinyl table clothes and grey walls leaves a lot to be desired. My salad was boring. and the place needed a good cleaning. Yet many of the tables were full. Goes to show how a place can run on it's reputation for a while until reality sets in. more

I love the glider 4/16/2006

I love the gliders food. It is a great place to go to for a good home cooked meal. Every time I go I get their mashed potatoes and homemade roast beef w/ gravy. It is so delicious. It was a little better when they were open 24 hours. Everyone is so nice all of the time. I would recommend them to others. more

The Glider 9/25/2005

The Glider restaraunt is a cozy diner with good food. They have a decent menu, with good prices. The old fashioned diner atmosphere is really cool. The waitresses are nice, and the prices are cheap. more

Used to be better 9/23/2005

The Glider used to be much higher by far in my list when it was open 24 hours every day except sunday. Now it only stays open for 3rd shift on friday and saturday, but it's still a great place to head to after going out for the night. Nothing ends a nice, long fuzzy memoried night like a good open face roast beef and fries with cheese and gravy. Fast service, plenty of room, and good food. more
