This vet should never be left alone with any animal. I discovered that years before I read about his abuse in the Herald. The allegations against him seem to be consistent with the reasons I found another vet. more

My Forever Vet! 1/3/2012

My dog BuJoo had a lump underneath her arm and chin - I was able to get her in the next business day. Dr. Rule and Alexis immediately took her under their wings and did their very best with her. She ended up getting a mouth infection and within two days they were able to get her in again. They called to follow up! They were always thinking of her! My husband and I were able to visit her after hours when she ended up staying overnight with an IV. I was even able to pick her up after hours. Dr. Rule always made himself available. We were able to call him personally about anything! He did blood work, steriod treatments at minimal to no cost because he cared and wanted to help us. He has a huge and kind heart! He took the time to really see what was going on with her. I think other patients tend to feel like he may be rough on the animals but he was the third vet my dog had been to throughout her life and was the only one to help! He actually tried to get reactions out of her by really digging deep to see what was going on. He is a problem solver to the best of his ability. If it wasn't for Dr. Rule, Alexis and his wife my husband and I would not have had two extra weeks with her. Sadly, she did become very ill - and there was nothing that could be done unless we were to watch her suffer. Her bone marrow was shot and her blood cells no longer had oxygen in them. She was dying. Dr. Rule and Alexis came over to our house to keep BuJoo comfortable and put her gently to sleep. BuJoo was so relaxed with them and trusted them very much. I was terrified to put her down but they did such a fantastic job. It was relieving to our hearts to see that both Dr. Rule and Alexis truly loved her. They were not afraid to express their sadness and condolences for us and for their loss. They even created a spotlight section at the office for BuJoo! They fought for her and we will never know how to thank them enough. I will always be taking my animals there. They are WONDERFUL!! If you really care about your pets take them here! Dr. Rule will help the best he can! Ask him questions - he will answer. Alexis will make your pets feel like they are loved from the get go. I'm so happy! more

I don't recommend taking your animal here! 4/16/2010

Both visits for my dogs eye surgery - the Dr. spent no more than 3 minutes with us. I spent over $700 for double laser sugery on his eyes. After coming in 3 days after the surgery for the post-op appoinment where the Dr. spent no more than two minutes with us, I was billed $38 for the appt. I assumed dog surgery was like people surgery, your post-op appointment is part of the exhorbant prices they charge. Within a month after receiving one bill, they turned me over to a collection agency - I am taking them to small claims as the surgery wasn't poor dog drains blood out of his eyes to this day! DON'T TAKE YOU LOVED, PRECIOUS ANIMAL TO GLACIERVIEW! Pros: May be close to home...however... Cons: They will charge you more than they should.... more

Great Vet clinic 12/16/2009

Great, attentive, timely care! Pros: Knowledgeable, helpful staff more

Vet cares about the patients 12/15/2009

I've seen vet clinics with bigger billboards and taller buildings but Glacierview is about good science and healthy animals. \r \r I've lost an animal in the past due to poor work by a vet tech at another place. If I had been close to Glacierview at that time, I would have had no hesitation and taken my sick bird to Glacierview. Dr. Rule doesn't mess around. He provides top notch work and charges a fair rate for it. His staff is friendly and they are never too busy to help. Pros: Experienced vet Cons: Far location unless you live in Ferndale or Bellingham more

A well run clinic 12/15/2009

I was really worried about my cat when she stopped taking care of herself and her fur started getting matted. The Doctor got right to the bottom of the issue and my Mimi is happy and healthy! Pros: Took excellent care of my cat ""Mimi."" more

Glacerview Animal Hospital 12/15/2009

A few years ago Glacerview Animal Hospital had performed a surgery on my dog. I was particularly impressed with the quality of surgical sutures as they were similar to the quality that a plastic surgeon would do here in Beverly Hills. After the surgery, the sutures were not only hidden under the skin but appeared to be healed. In my case the dog did not even need an Elizabethan collar. Another thing to note about Glacerview Animal Hospital is that they treat fleas with Comfortis a substantially less toxic alternative to Front Line. Pros: Quality work, reasonable costs, integrity more

Great care for your pets! 12/15/2009

I have nothing but good to say about this place! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and the staff are helpful. The Dr. himself is very considerate and takes time to listen to what you have to say. more

Great place 12/15/2009

2 years ago, I would not have given my own clinic 5 stars (actually, I believe Ducky007 was working here at the time.), but I think I can with integrity give my own business that. I actually LIKE going to work now. Compared to other clinics, I can guarantee we have a better fish tank, but my colleagues are great as well, and we'll work with them as needed to make sure every pet gets the care they need. Yes, we're expensive -- and my staff is well worth it, so if the almighty $ is your bottom line, there are several other good clinics in the area that may be able to meet your needs. Pros: Laser surgery, excellent staff, consistent preventative care Cons: High prices more

Do not take your pets here! 8/5/2009

This office was less than satisfactory. They charge a lot and the Dr. seems to have anger issue.s Do your pets a favor and take them to an office that cares about the health of your pet. more
