Gil Hodges Lanes

I WENT ON A SCHOOL TRIP THERE AND THEY BOOKED 3 SCHOOLS AT THE SAME TIME!! we were supposed to play 1 game, eat, go to the arcade,and then have another game what we did was game 1, eat, arcade, leave!!!! the food is greasy, fat full and we had to wait a half hour because the ran out of food!! HORRIBLE!!!!! more

I WOULD NOT RECOMMED HAVING YOUR CHILD'S BIRTHDAY PARTY AT GIL HODGES. I RECENTLY DID AND IT WAS TERRIBLE! WHEN I BOOKED THE PARTY 2 MONTHS AGO I WAS SHOWN A ROOM THAT THE PARTY WAS GOING TO BE IN AND THEN THE DAY OF THE PARTY I WAS BROUGHT TO A ROOM THAT I WAS NEVER SHOWN OR TOLD ABOUT, THAT WAS THE SIZE OF A BATHROOM , HAD WATER DAMAGE THOUGHOUT THE CEILINGS AND WALLS AND THE DOOR NEXT TO IT WAS FOR THE RESTROOMS SO IT SMELT! WE I ASKED WHAT HAPPEN TO THE ROOM I WAS SHOWN, THEY OVERBOOKED AND THE OTHER PARTY HAD MORE PEOPLE THAN WE DID. WHEN I COMPLAINED I WAS TOLD I COULD HAVE MY PARTY IN THE "HALLWAY" SINCE WE COULD NOT FIT IN THE ROOM. THEY OFFERED NO OTHER SOLUTION AND I WOULD HAVE WALKED OUT BUT ALL MY CHILDS FRIENDS WERE THERE WITH THIER PARENTS! IT SO BAD THAT WE HAD "WANNA BE'S" TRYING TO WALK BY (SINCE WE WERE IN THE HALLWAY) AND TAKE FOOD AND CAKE. I EVEN CAUGHT A KID NOT FROM MY PARTY POURING HIMSELF A DRINK AT MY EXPENSE. TERRIBLE I WOULD NEVER HAVE A PARTY THERE AGAIN EVEN IF IT WAS FREE! PARENTS BEWARE more

This bowling alley is pretty regular, nothing amazing. They dont have midnight bowling, something a lot of other bowling alleys offer. The service is not great. We had to wait a long time to be served, although there was no line and the place wasnt full. There are lot of teenagers hanging out here, however during the day, there are families here as well. They also offer arcades, which is great for entertainment. more

Whether you just want to spend some time with your family, or some friends, bowling is the way to go, especially in this place. You'll find people of all ages here. The crowd is mixed so you cant go wrong. It's a pretty big place so there usually isn't a wait. The neighborhood is good, so you don't have to worry. They have a parking lot next to them, so you never have to worry about parking. more

I will begin with the good. They have plenty of lanes and parking. Now to the bad, this was once a very nice bowling alley but now they took half of it and turned it into a golds gym. You also have a thuggish atmosphere who come to this bowling alley now. They even have metal detectors at nights on fridays and saturdays. Their prices are pretty expensive if you compare them to other bowling alleys in brooklyn. They offer league bowling and they have a grill where they sell burgers and other foods. more

Gil Hodges is a great place to bowl. You will have a lot of fun. Theres lanes with bumpers and no bumpers. They have good food to. I like to get cheese fries from them. They have a big arcade loaded with some cool games. The prices are not that cheap and you will have a great time. more

This is one of the few bowling alleys in this area. The place is huge! They have arcade games, lots of lanes and a snack bar. Gil Hodges Lanes also allows you to have parties. It is usually pretty empty so you don't have to worry about a line. Compared to other lanes there prices are very low. There basic things such as bowling balls and shoes are in good condition. more

I'm a big fan bowling. I go here quite often. They have many different features such as glow in the dark bowling. They have a place for food although it is sort of expensive. They have leagues also for different age groups. My friend’s sister is in one of them. Great for birthday parties. Although it is sort of old and one time the ceiling fell on my friends head. He is alright though. Great place, very clean compared to other places I've been to. more
