Maybe my expectations were too high... 6/8/2006

After all the Oscar buzz, I finally saw Walk the Line. I was very disappointed. The acting was good, but the plot and characters were flat. Johnny Cash's whole life is basically distilled into a love story. Maybe it was all the good press that I heard beforehand, but I just didn't think this movie was anything special. more

Everything a hipster kid could want for her birthday, they most definitely sell here. Nice location, right off Haight Street too. more

They also have hard-to-find Japanese horror films on DVD for sale. If you haven't read the magazine Giant Robot, pick up the latest copy and any back issues they have for sale here too!
