Getta Clue

On Sunday 1.15.2012 Approximately 5:30pm. I will be attending a B-Boy Battle in SF next Saturday, so I decided to finally give the ""Getta Clue Store"" Downtown Plaza Sacramento a visit. I had heard of them through commercials and endorsements by music industry artists over the years. Before heading out I decided to look the store up online. I also browsed their Facebook page. After checking out the styles and selections I thought for sure it wouldn't be a wasted trip. I already had my outfit picked out so I just needed a hat & matching tee who knows I might have even purchased a whole new look once I had time to browse. Anyway, when I arrived I practically walked into one of the employees who didn't even acknowledge me. He seemed stand off-ish and swear he damn near mean mugged me as I passed him. So I decided to take the high road and ask how he was doing. He just looked the other way and grunted. Thinking to myself he must have had a long day, I made my way towards the counter to look at the hats. Out of the corner of my eye I saw the same employee approaching me (probably out of obligation) He still didn't ask if I needed help so once again taking matters in my own hands, I asked him if they carried knit hats aka beanies. He just pointed to the stack of plain Jane knit hats behind the counter not saying a word. So I asked do you have any with in black with brown trim, logo's or anything. He just looked at me sideways shaking his head no. So I said thank you and left. This took all of 3 minutes. The getta Clue store will never see $1 of my or any of my friends or acquaintances money for that matter. If I have anything to say about it. I wish I knew the employees name so I can put him on blast. Wait a minute... maybe he's mute... Hmmm. If that's the case then I apologize. Not. I have some 15 years experience in retail customer service. In my opinion this guy is in the wrong business. This is the 1st review I've felt compelled to write. I hope the Getta clue employee I'm writing about here's about this and either fixes his attitude or finds another profession. more

This is my first review and im only doing it because i am exremely mad. my boyfriend bought me a pair of shoes at the arden store and prior to paying for them he asked ""if she doesn't like them can we return them and get our $ back"" and the girl helping him said ""yes"". What a lie. we went back in there a week later to return them and they refused even though we had the receipt, tags were still on the shoes, simply because they said their return policy is written on the receipt. Even though we didnt receive the receipt until AFTER paying for the shoes and having asked about what the store policy was. They did offer to give me a gift card for an amount less than what the shoes actually cost. What a bunch of BS, i dont want to but ANYTHING from there and I dont recommend anyone shopping there either, you can buy the same stuff online or at another store cheaper anyways. DONT SHOP HERE! This may be my first time writing a review on the internet but I had such a bad experience at Getta Clue I couldn't let it go. They charged my credit card again AFTER I left the store because they said they made a mistake on the pricing. Can you say fraud? I never received a call or anything. Finally after calling for weeks and threatening legal action they gave me my money back two days ago. STAY AWAY more

Bought a jacket from this store, when i got back home i realized that i really did not need it and decided to go return it because I really needed the money that I spent for it. I went back to the store no more than 5 hours after purchasing the jacket with my receipt, the card i payed with, and the jacket that still had the tags on it. The man behind the register was the manager and stated boldly without negotiation that there was a no return policy. I told him that I was not informed of a no return policy when i purchaed the product, and if I knew of this policy I would have not bought the product. I know for a fact that he could return it because i returned something before in this store. He was very rude to me and did not help me out at all even after i explained my situation. I simply wanted the money i did not want anything else in the store. The manager stood behind the counter and did absoloutely nothing to help me whatsoever and he was very rude throughout the argument. To top it all of, when my buddy was checking out and buying something his card would not swipe and the manager refused to take the 10 seconds to enter it manually when asked and told him to go an ATM. I had to walk out of the store before I punched this magaer in the face. He is a short asian man. I forgot his name. Pros: some cool shoes. Cons: Extremely rude staff especially the manager(short chubby asian male watch out for him), Absoloutely terrible customer service, No return policy. more

This place is for you if you like ecko,G-unit,LRG and all those Hip hop stuff..They always have the New kicks yadadaimean? Pros: Lots of clothing..new kicks Cons: $$$$ more
