1. Get an estimate. Agree to work. As they are tearing off the roof I am told there is a $500 dollar cost overrun due to a wrong estimate on plywood. I end up paying $500 more. ...

AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing is great! I asked for bids from a few companies and Gerry came in within the ballpark, lives in my neighborhood and belongs to my home association so I went with him. His quote was extremely professional and thorough. The original plan was to take two days, but his crew was able to get the entire job finished in one day which took a whole lot of stress out of the time period for me. Within two days of the job being completed, Gerry personally came by for a follow-up visit. He went over everything to make sure the job was done properly and professionally. He checked the gutters, and took time to clean up any mess left behind that his crew had missed. more

Highly recommended! 7/12/2011

AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing was very professional. He always did what he said he was going to do. He brought plenty of men with him to do the work. Everyone was courteous and pleasant to be around. And in the event that Tacoma experiences a tornado that rips our brand new, thirty-year guaranteed roof off, we'd definitely use Gerry Ray again! Don & Pat more

AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing works quickly and professionally. 6/9/2011

As far as I'm concerned, AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing did a great job. For starters, there was never a mess. They had one fellow down below cleaning up as they worked. They worked quickly, they arrived on a Friday morning to unload the shingles and bring them up to the roof and had the job completed by Sunday afternoon. It looked great. They used good materials and did a fine job. Everything was done to my complete satisfaction. more

It's hard to get a compliment out of me, but for AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing, you'll get several! 6/8/2011

About three years ago, I had Gerry Ray come out to look at my roof. I wasn't able to do anything about it then, but recently, I called the company looking for him and they said he wasn't there. I finally discovered him in the phone book under AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing and gave him a call. I called him on a Tuesday and by Sunday afternoon my roof and shed were completely recovered. After I first called, he arrived within twenty minutes to check out my roof. His prices supersede anyone else, truly he is 50 percent below his competitors. We agreed on a price and set up a time. His crew is great! They are absolutely perfect. They were professional and hard-working and cleaned up everything when they were done. His customers should really consider them the best. They used only top quality materials and finished quickly. I didn't have to wait long at all, but I think Gerry Ray is well worth the wait. I've recommended him to at least three other people in my neighborhood. Tom Shelton more

Gerry Ray's Roofing was wonderful! They did a very good job, and everything was excellent. They changed our roof, they did a good job, and they cleaned up after themselves. We actually paid half the money upfront, and when they finished on time, we paid the rest. The price was fair compared to other people, and we had shopped around before choosing them. The salesperson was excellent, and he did a good job; everybody did a good job. They are also very honest people. If somebody called me, I would recommend Gerry Ray's Roofing. When I'm happy with a good job, I love to tell everybody. more

I don't ever give out fives but I still thought Gerry Ray's Roofing was fantastic! 5/9/2011

I got four bids and AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing was one of them. When we met with him, my wife thought he was top-notch. Gerry Ray presented himself so well, we were very impressed. He's a big dude, but not in the least bit intimidating at all. He was really good to us. He quoted a medium price. They were really good to work with. They got things done in a timely matter and we never had to chase after them, which is hard to find in companies nowadays. And, our roof is still working! more

AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing replaced a torch down roof on my house. Everything was good. It did take a little longer than expected, because they ran out of some materials, but not too much longer. That is the only reason I would not give them 5s across the board. Everything turned out great. I definitely recommend their work and service. more

2 complete roofs and gutters 4/1/2011

Gerry's team did full tear off and replacement of House roof and shop roof. Also replaced facias where needed and installed all new gutter system on both buildings. The entire project went very quick. Whole team was very professional and easy to work with. Gerry did the final walk through personally to make sure everything was perfect and that I was totally satisfide. That was very impresive. more

Gerry's crew was prompt, efficient and very thorough. We had a wind blowing and the paper that was blown around was picked up 100. Clean up was done beyond my satisfaction. Will recommemend to other people and family. more

They fixed everything we asked them to and more. 3/17/2011

We hired Gerry Ray's Roofing to come out and take a look at our roof because we thought we had some shingles missing. They went over and above, fixing everything we asked them to and more. One of the days they weren't going to be able to make it here, and they called us right away to let us know. We were extremely pleased with them, and with the work. We plan on calling them back to get some other stuff done. more

AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing was very timely in getting back to me when I called. It actually took awhile because I went through a lot of places to decide who I wanted to work with. AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing was very polite and easy to work with the whole time. They did a new roof for my house, and it looks very nice. They are honest and did exactly what they said they were going to do. It is a quality roof. I have already recommended them to a friend. more

Expedient high quality work 2/12/2011

I had Gerry Ray's Roofing tear off my old roof and install new composite. The job was done in 2 days. Gerry, the owner stopped by several times to check on the work being done to my roof. His foreman and employees were curtious and professional. When Gerry first came to my home he walked around the house with me and reviewed all the issues he saw with my roof, gutters, soffits, etc. and when the job was done he reviewed the issues that he thought may need attention that were unrelated to the roofing. I would absolutely recommend Gerry's Roofing to others. more

Great service, good communication, quick job. 2/4/2011

Gerry Ray's Roofing was recommended by a friend of mine and we hired them to do the re-roofing for our house. The communication was very good and they were in-an-out quickly. We had made an arrangement to do the re-roofing at the end of one season, but there was a lot of rain so we waited and postponed it about 8 or 9 months. Gerry Ray did not raise the price; he kept it the same, which we appreciated. We had a storm a couple of months ago and the roof leaked a little, but they sent a guy out to fix it right away and he did. It was great service at no charge. I sent out our foreman to your home after your phone call and he had discovered that it was your chimney, that was causing the leak and not our newly installed roof. The roof is not leaking in all this rain, so it is good. 1/24/2011

AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing came out, measured everything up, and gave a price. He was out in 2 or 3 days. The roof is not leaking in all this rain, so it is good. They cleaned up after themselves after they finished it up. I would give them a 5 on the clean up. It was my first time using them, and as far as we can tell, everything looks good. He did what he said he would do. more

He took care of our problem. 1/12/2011

AAA Gerry Ray's Roofing was able to get out right away when we needed him. We had a hole in our roof, so it was an emergency repair. Gerry Ray took care of it. We also had a conflict getting a meeting time for the payment, and he was flexible with that. We don't seem to have any problems with leaking anymore. more
