Gerrings Car Wash

Gerrings is THE BEST car wash in town....I have never had a problem...Every detail is taken care of....I usually hand wash my BMW,when I have the time...I like every nook and cranny clean...Gerrings takes care of my car like it is their own pride and joy! Excellent....Don't settle for "other" car wash and detail centers....I tried another place in Excelsior and they had my floor mats SOAKING wet and ruined the backing...Gerrings in the best..Period! more

Yesterday, I bought the "works" in order to have my mats cleaned, etc. When I got out of the parking lot in day light, I noticed that not only did they do a very poor job vacuuming, but did a poor job "dusting" as well. To make matters worse, when I got home, I found my cloth bag that I had put on the floor in the front seat completely soaked! Everything in it, including important work documents were ruined! It was a high price to pay for a huge inconvenience! Never will I go there again. more

My son left his DSi in the rear seat - big mistake. When we realized it was missing after going to the car wash at Gerrings, I attempted to speak with the manager by phone. I didn't not expect them to take responsibility but I thought they would at least like to know. I called twice and was promised a call back before they closed. Never got the call. I'll be making a report with the Wayzata Police Dept. Not sure if that will help, but at least they will have it on record. more

Paid for SUV car wash including mats. Did not wash mats in the rear seat. I know this because front and middle seat mats were wet while the back mats were dry. Check your mats to see if they are washed before you leave. more

GREAT JOB ! FAIR PRICES THEY WERE MORE CONCERNED WITH THE JOB THAN I WAS . I THOUGHT THE TRUCK LOOKED FANTASTIC ,BUT THE YOUNG MAN AT THE EXIT(THINK HE WAS ONE OF THE OWNERS)SAID THAT HE THOUGHT IT WASN'T CLEAN ENOUGH AND RAN IT THROUGH THE WASH A SECOND TIME. I'LL BE BACK !! more

I had quite a few bugs plastered on the front of my car after a road trip. I thought I would mention it so they would give that a little extra attention. Hey, they were one step ahead of me!!! They hit me with a $3.00 "bug charge". They claimed "it takes extra chemicals to get those bugs off". I watched it go through, and other than an extra 30 seconds with a brush (thank you for that), nothing extra was done. This is a good way to irritate you customers. Why do I bring my car in? To get it washed - so there is an "extra" charge if it's got a few extra bugs? Bad, bad, bad - almost humorous, but irritating!!! more

My wife had her car washed and entered without a cracked windshield. After they washed it there was an 8 inch crack in the windshield. I went back with her later and the evening manager/part-owner would not accept responsibility for the damage. I can not recommend their car wash. more

Gerrings is a top notch facility. Sure, the previous reviewer is correct that he probably can do as good a job as gerrings, But I doubt he does it in 10 minutes, like gerrings does. I don't recommend getting the lowest priced package, just like everywhere else you get what you pay for. I always get the top or second best package, they really make your car look great. The prices are for sure fair in terms of the service you recieve. If you want to make your car look top notch, inside and out, go to gerrings. Whenever I get into my car after their done, it always smells like a new car, the dash and interior of the car sparkling and shiny, and the floor mats washed and shampooed to brand new. If you give them a few extra minutes, they will even wipe down all the door and trunk seals where extra water likes to hide, along with the inside of all glass surfaces. Gerrings is hard to beat for making your car look great. more

I have stopped at Gerrings Car Wash a few times when I needed a quick clean. There prices are fair, but I still do a myuch better job myself at a manual car wash. They have a number of different packages to choose from at different price levels. They will do a quick wash and spray on wax, with manual dry, and give the inside a quick once over. It's not to bad if you are in a hurry for a date or something, but if you think this was job os going to protect your finish, think again. My advice, wash/wax once a month or so, and then a couple of times in between, do a quick stop at one of these in and outs. Gerrings would be a decent choice. more
