My boyfriend and I went there to look at a Prius and decided on one with the help of a very good, professional, non-pushy salesman. That's where the blissful car-shopping experience ended.
First we were left for an hour and a half (yes, I timed it) in an empty waiting room, waiting to talk to a financing guy, watching the place shut down for the night around us (the secretaries packed up and left, the room with vending machines was closed off with a gate, etc). The financing guy, once he made time for us, did get us through the paperwork in fairly good order, told us we had financing, and let us go on our merry way.
Then we (both of us - I cosigned) started getting letters of rejection from a good half-dozen lenders.
We called the dealership, who assured us that we definitely had credit with the bank they initially said we did. Then, over a month after we took the car, we called AGAIN and - whoops - no financing. What do you know.
We trotted off to our credit union and found out that they would finance us - but our credit scores were, of course, 25-30 points lowered because of Germain applying with everyone-and-their-brother on our behalf.
We tried to take the car back. (This time, a financing guy saw us RIGHT AWAY .. huh.) Rather than tell us to our faces that we couldn't return the car, he whined about how ""it wasn't his fault"", then scurried off and hauled in this huge bear of a man, who mocked us outright, then proceeded to slam the computer mouse on the desk until it broke. (Intimidation. Very nice.)
Then he left and the guy from before - who was not the guy we talked to when we got the car, not that it matters because none of them know what they're doing - told us we could get financed through Toyota at a lower rate than the loans we tried for before. (Yeah right. Please just take back the car.) That was two weeks ago. We have received NOTHING in writing confirming this, and forgive me if I'm not willing to just take your word for it, Germain, since you LIED before.
Don't go to this business. The only guy we dealt with that had any idea what he was doing was the salesman, who'd been there since the place was built.
