Lately the salads tend to be very watery also the menu statates that the ceasar salad comes with romaine lettuce and we get iceberg lettuce instead. I think georges should stick to the menu and not continue to make changes. Ceasar salad always comes differently they never stick to one recipe. Strawberry shortkake for dessert was gross, the strawberries were rotten. Georges what going on? Very dissappointed. Used to love to order from here more

I was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp I ordered was very tasty, as were the mashed potatoes. For the price, it was a good quantity of food, which I received in a timely manner. I would order here again. more

I order from here ALL the time, but I decided to try them out via grub hub and they were just as fantastic as always. This is the only consistent restaurant in this area, and I hope they stay that way. Yes, they are pricey but obviously they have to pay such a wonderful staff! My food always comes hot, and fresh and it's why I don't mind spend $30 on dinner. more

I think people are really way too generous with the stars for this restaurant. Ordered the pesto panini which was mediocre but I wouldn't go so far as giving this restaurant anything more then 2-3 stars. Most restaurants fall in this category tho, so it's not a terrible place where I had a bad experience but definitely nothing special about it either. more

Comfort food to really fine 10/8/2004

It's a pleasent suprise to get hearty portions, comfortable seating and very nice service when the neighborhood doesn't yet offer more. This is the place to go in Sunset Park. Pros: good portions, comfortable seating, good service more

This pleasant Bay Ridge diner offers one of the archetypal NY experiences. From the overstuffed menu to the placemats advertising spectacularly festive drinks, to the comfy booths, the decor signals -- this is indeed your grandfather's diner and thank goodness for it. Great Italian entrees, in super-sized portions, and lots and lots of sides, make this a local favorite and a solid diner classic. more
