good selection of light food 3/16/2006

This is one of my favorite places to take out of town visitors for lunch. They offer a great selection of hot and cold items and you can mix and match and add as much to your plate as you would like. Good selection of salads and sandwich, which are made to order on scrumptous breads. I like the fact that you can try so many different items, so it is great if you try to accomodate vegans or meat eaters alike. I can highly recommend this place for lunch. But you can stop by anytime of the day for a quick bite. more

Wonderful food! 9/2/2005

When you hear this establishment’s name, you sure don’t picture a restaurant, however it would be well worth your time to visit it for yourself. George’s seems to be a very popular lunch eatery, for every time I have eaten here at lunch I have had to wait in line. The prices are great for the food selection they offer, and the selection is wide! I love the sushi bar! more

Great place for lunch 8/23/2005

George's offers everything from a quick bite for lunch to a sushi bar to a full bar to a sit-down dinner. There is also dancing at night on the weekends. My favorite thing about George's is their lunch. It is called the marketplace and offers freshly made sandwiches as you wait, an enormous variety of salads, hot foods, and baked goods to satisfy the pickiest of sweet tooths. The price is equivalent to a super-sized meal at a fast food place but the food is unparalled. So stop in for lunch or any of the other options George's has to offer. more

somewhat overpriced, but food is good 8/18/2005

i'd want better for 15-25 dollars per entree, but the food served here is pretty good. there's a decent number of options, and the service is acceptable. this place turns into a nightclub of sorts at night on the weekends (after 10). big hangout for duke students. more
