They have the best sandwiches in Rhode Island, bar none. They are very creative with the ingredients and have an uncanny knack at turning combinations that sound questionable at best, into absolutely incredible sandwiches. Each sandwich comes with the name of a local celebrity. There is one drawback, which is a bit bizarre, at least as a business practice. They go out of there way to treat you in a gruff and unfriendly manner. It is definitely an intentionally staged act. The deli is located near Rhode Island School of Design, Brown University and Johnson & Wales; so perhaps they figure the college crowd will get a kick out of it. Who knows? But all in all, it is a great place to get a sandwich-just get it to go.
