Gentle Dental

Last week my child had an appointment at 4pm yet when we showed up there was no record of her ever having that appointment. They were able to work her in anyway and did some fillings. One week later the fillings are still hurting so bad she cannot eat or talk without extreme pain. Went back to Gentle Dental today for cavity appointment for other side of mouth. Talked to dentist about the pain and my child was told that it's because she's not used to going to the dentist. Just because she hasn't been to Gentle Dental in a few years doesn't mean that she hasn't had preventative care somewhere else. If he'd looked at her chart he would've known that. He decided to go ahead with the fillings on the other side. When my child came out into the waiting area (because I'm not allowed to go back with her due to 'lack of room') she is in tears from the pain. She told me that numbing stuff was put on her gums then immediately after the Novocain was injected then the drilling without any time for the pain reliever to take affect. The needle went into her jaw bone under her teeth repeatedly causing extreme pain and discomfort to my child. When the assistant was using the utensil to suck up excess saliva she dug the utensil into my daughter's cheek and scrapped the back of her throat twice causing harm. We will under NO circumstance EVER return to this establishment. more

The lady at the front desk was extremely rude to me when I showed up for an appointment that needed to be canceled. I understand that things happen and wires get crossed, but the lack of professionalism at the front desk was remarkable. They supposedly called and left messages that I never received because they were calling a wrong number. Again, I could have been understanding, but the fact that she never apologized, used a extremely rude tone, and rolled her eyes caused me to never return. I would have given the a lower rating, but I really liked the dentist and his assistant and thought they find a great job. more

The girls there were very friendly to myself and my daughter, but when it came time for my husband's procedure, the dentist was RUDE. Did not try to relax him or explain what was going on, got half-way through ripping a tooth apart and then said that he COULD recommend an oral surgeon, but then proceeded to finish tearing the tooth out, did not offer any headphones either, after telling him he could have some to block out the noise! Oh yeah...they also FORGOT to fill another tooth that was to be filled that day, claiming that they 'Didn't know about it' when it was right there on the computer screen! Very unprofessional and rude dentist, also very hard to understand. The ladies that work there are amazing though! Very nice and they explain what is going on. Will not be going back though. more

I have been to this dentist office a couple of times. I wasn't fully happy with the service. I have had several relatives go here and end up with problems such as infection etc. I didn't think that the doctor that I had was very friendly but the staff is pretty friendly. They have a nice new building and they have a nice location. I thought that their estimate for service was pretty high. I don't think that I will go back there again. But give it a try maybe you'll like it. more

I have been taking myself and my family to Gentle Dental for many years now. They have always been very friendly and courteous. The hygienists have always done a great job cleaning our teeth. They work well with my small children in the kids room. They have always been able to answer my questions and address all my concerns regarding our teeth care. They are conveniently located and they always have plenty of parking available. I really like their new wall of jaws that they have on display in their office of skeleton jaw remains of many different animals. I would recommend this dentist's office. more

My family has been going here for their dental work and cleanings for many years. I have always had good experiences with them. Their staff seems very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. I feel they take extra care with my children to make them feel comfortable and have a good experience. I really like their new Wall of Jaws they have. It is very interesting. I would highly recommend this place as do lots of my friends! more

this dental office offers a variety of services. they have a general practice that has recently expanded so there is less of a wait to get in on short notice. they also leave appointments open daily for emergency visits...i have never had a problem getting in the same day or the next if i have a problem that is causing pain. they also do cosmetic dentistry and they work very well with children. more
