I usually head down to Rive on Friday nights when Brad Altman is hosting his parties. There has not been another club in chicago that I've been to that I enjoy as much as Rive. The only major draw back is that they have started charging to go upstairs, they never used to do that but the last couple of times I've been there they have. But you don't need to go up ther to have a good time. Pros: women, music, enviroment Cons: , not enough bartenders more

Never going back 11/1/2003

Went on Halloween to a party billed as $10 cover, all you can drink from 9 to 10:30. Waited in line for an hour while they let groups of 5 people in about every 5 minutes until 10:20 when they let everyone in to shove their way to the bar for one free drink. This was completely misrepresented, and keeping people freezing outside for over an hour to enter a nearly empty bar fits my definition of evil. more
