In answer to the comment below. Yes one of the orginal investors and CEO and whom took over the company Mr Robert Lewis, did foreclose and siezed the assets, which included my investment and stock shares he does not want to honor ( apparently the stock was always worthless). I was told I would need to sue Carlos in small claims court. Why would I. MR Lewis took over the company from Carlos, he was the CEO, I was told that he knew nothing about me and my retirement money I used to invest in the company he took over so therefore he cant/wont honor, he was CEO for years, with my 10k. If Mr lewis was honorable he would make it right for his previous investors he was in business with at Orbital and not toss us aside. All new investors need to RUN NOT WALK when he comes to you for money....I am filing a complaint with the BBB and any government entity where you need to file for any business adventure more

I understand one of Carlos's orginal investors, forclosed on the company and seized the assets and started a new service company, same family, same employees. Mr. Meyer resigned from Orbital Enterprises in April. more

Alot of people we're screwed over by the new and old owners of General Electronics/Orbital Enterprises. All the previous employees we're forced to be laid-off due to non-payment. From what its known both Mr. Carlos Arreola and Mr. Robert Meyers have created new companies run by some of the same employees that stay with them which include mostly family members (they we're given shares in exchange for back payroll, with a promises of making big profits within 6 to 12 months). more

ORBITAL TRIED TO CHANGE THEIR NAME FROM GENERAL ELECTRONICS TO ORBITAL TO SCAM AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE. DON?T BE A FOOL. ITS THE SAME COMPANY JUST WITH A DIFFERENT NAME. THIS SO CALL COMPANY DOES NOT PAY THEIR EMPLOYEES THEY ARE FORCED TO BE LAID OFF DUE TO NO PAYMENT. THE PEOPLE RUNNING THE COMPANY INTIMIDATE THEIR EMPLOYEES , NEVER PAYS THEM AND GIVES THEM CHECKS WITH NO FUNDS SAYING HERE IS YOUR CHECK U BETTER NOT CASH IT SINCE THERE ARE NO FUNDS. THEY ALSO ALWAYS TELL CUSTOMERS THEY ARE HAVING PHONE PROBLEMS IN ORDER TO AVOID CUSTOMERS. THE OFFICE WORKERS ARE RELATIVES OF THE OWNERS/MANAGERS THAT'S WHY YOUR COMPLAINTS ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE. THEY ARE VERY WELL PREPARED TO SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. IT?S A FAMILY BUISNESS TARGETING UR WALLET. JUST DID SOME MORE INVESTIGATING AND IT SEEMS THIS COMPANY IS ALSO SCAMING EMPLOYEES AND CUSTOMERS IN LAS VEGAS UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME (FREDS). Kearney Mesa try being an employee, isnt it good business to pay your employees, when their pay checks are do. As an investor I would NOT invest any money with this company until they pay their back wages of thousands and thousands of dollars. That Carlos dude is a bum, and less than truthful more

Nasty, Rotten Putrid Customer Service 10/6/2010

We purchased a flat panel TV in 2008 and it needed service on July of this year. It had a black mark ingrained in the screen. After having the local company pick it up and send it to orbital for service, we thought we'd get it back in about a month. As I write this, we still haven't got out TV back. It's been over 2 months and I've called the local company (who didn't get any farther than I did with orbital), the warranty company and orbital. The last time I called orbital about a week ago, I was put on hold for 10 minutes. I called back 4 times until I told them to listen to what I had to say. After getting nowhere, I told this wonderful woman on the phone I was filing a complaint with the NYS Attorney General. Her response: ""You can do whatever you want Sir"". This morning, I called the warranty company again and asked them to call orbital to see when it would be repaired & shipped back to us. They told them that they were still ""testing"" it and if it can't be repaired, they'd send a new one. Hey, there's a thought! I suggested this a month ago and they told me ""if we think it can be repaired, we must repair it"". Orbital also lied when they told me a month ago they just received it that morning - when I know for a fact the local company sent it out more than a month before I called them, Our local company called us when they sent it out at the end of August. If someone EVER tells you that your product will be shipped to orbital, Run for the Hills! This is NOT a company you want to have anything to do with after buying an extended warranty and shipping it to them for ""service""! more

Victoria very rude & Second time for same repair 8/9/2010

This is the second time my Flat panel has been repaired there for the exact same thing. And at least three occasion I've dealt with the very rude Victoria who often times answers the phone. Victoria's personal problems should be left at the door and not projected on customers. If General Electronics wants to continue to do any quality of business they will have to do a better job at repairs and choose to assign someone that wants a job. My 1 year old great grandson could do a better job at answering the phone than her. Get rid of Victoria. Do a better job at repairs . Do a better job at customers service. If not you'll be out of business fast. more

Clueless about customer service... 7/5/2007

Circuit City selected this company to provide service for my 9 month old Samsung DLP, for which I had purchased an extended warranty. I arranged to take the day off, and they gave me a window of 8 AM to 5 PM in which to expect this service company to show up. At noon I called General Electronics to find out if they had a more specific time, and they told me that they had rejected the claim (which Circuit City shows no record of their rejection) because its still under manufacturers warranty. They didn't have the decency to call me and let me know what was going on. They were absolutely clueless as to why this might be a problem for me. So I took the day off for nothing. When I called them and asked what was going on they just didn't seem to think it was their responsibility to call me, couldn't care less, the woman on the line was very dismissive. CC said they would arrange for another service company to do the service, apparently, they weren't too impressed with them either after the CC representative called them while I was on hold. I'll never deal with them, hope this is fair warning to the rest of you. more
