I have gone to this salon for years and have always looked over the delayed appointments, loud management and stressed out employees. In fact I have recommended the spa to many co-workers (I work in the entertainment/fashion business and get asked frequently for recs). But I have to say this place has gone from OK to AWFUL. This is a small family business and the owners have three grown daughters who seem to think that their experience comes before their customers. The time prior to my last time I had three little children of one of the owners daughters running around the room while I was having a spa treatment (NOT VERY RELAXING). This last time I had a different one of their daughters come in to my treatment room three times and finally pull away the employee (I had requested and booked the week prior) because she wanted her to put on a fresh coat of color to her nails. When I finally left the salon over two hours later I told the person at the desk how disappointed I was. I should have known it was another one of the owners daughters who quickly told me that it was their business, that her sister could do what she wanted and if I wanted the place to myself I should "come on Mondays when this place is a nursing home" (that must be when they let their parents out?).
So don't go kids, the prices have gone UP, the service down and "management" seems to be unaware that paying customers are what keep the doors open (or did).
Pros: spa staff knows what they are doing and do it well
Cons: Atmosphere, attitude, poor managment, long wait times, jacked up prices
more
